Dallas MAY Pass on Cooper Flagg 👀 | Sports Illustrated
https://www.youtube.com/@SportsIllustrated

I think there’s a 90% chance they draft Cooper flag. 10% chance not on somebody else, but on a trade. Dallas would be an interesting fit for Giannis. The question is, does Nico Harrison have it in him to trade to trade the number one overall pick? Is this pick kind of a no trade zone for you or do you think there’s value in at least considering it? I get how that could be appealing, but I think Cooper’s good enough right now that it doesn’t stop you from going to chase a title. And I think long term the the ceiling and the consistent highle play you’re gonna get from him for at least probably eight to nine years before you know he has a chance to really hit free agency and then from there I mean who knows.

  1. Trading for giannis would deplete this teams depth unless kyrie opts out of player option. But it would still probably take most of the shooters. I feel like the smarter thing is to draft flagg and try to trade gafford and washington for monk and reaves

  2. They said the same thing about Christian Laettner and Adam Morrison. Playing in The NBA is Different than Playing in College.

  3. Giannis would not require much of Dallas. They are a deep team as it is. Lively Hardey, Flagg. Future pick. That's not much given the new roster would be Kyrie Klay AD Greek Gafford Max Martin Naji PJ Spencer . That's 10 solid players right there.

Looks like they could win a ring with that to me IF HEALTHY.

  4. I don't think Giannis fits next to AD. Neither of them are true centers. You could put Giannis at the 3, but then you need to get rid of your centers and get new ones. Giannis needs to be with a 5 that can shoot so you can't build a wall on him. You don't have to make any moves to make cooper fit.
