Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump, is stepping into the spotlight, not as a political heir, but as a rising golf star ready to tee it up with the pros.

Known for her viral YouTube golf journey and standout junior performances, Kai announced Tuesday morning her LPGA Tour debut at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, set to take place from Nov. 10–16 at Pelican Golf Club in Florida.

The announcement marks a major step forward in her career, which she’s been working toward for a long time, and has gotten praise from some of the biggest names in golf.

“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be making my LPGA Tour debut in November at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge,” Kai shared on her Instagram profile. “It has been my dream to compete at a professional level, and I’d like to thank Pelican Golf Club for the invitation. I’m looking forward to teeing it up and competing with the best players in the world at one of the most premier venues on tour.”

The ANNIKA, named after Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam, has become one of the LPGA’s crown jewels, drawing elite talent from across the globe. Past fields have included major champions and top-ranked stars like WNBA’s Caitlin Clark, who will return this year for Pro-Am.

Kai’s recent announcement comes right after she reached 3.3 million YouTube subscribers in just one year. Her channel has featured rounds with Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler and even her grandfather, Donald Trump.

DeChambeau has become a close mentor to the junior golfer and has even publicly praised her poise and ball-striking ability.

Not only this, earlier this fall, the 18-year-old made her first appearance at the Ryder Cup, calling it “a dream come true.” She was spotted walking the fairways and soaking in the energy with the President and her grandpa in the second half of the event.

The senior of The Benjamin School in Palm Beach has already committed to playing collegiate golf at the University of Miami, starting in 2026. She’s also landed endorsement deals with TaylorMade and Callaway, signaling her growing influence in the sport’s commercial landscape.
