DAVIS, Calif. — The UC Davis Baseball program hosted its annual golf tournament fundraiser this past Friday at Wildhorse Golf Club, bringing together more than 80 attendees — including alumni, supporters, and friends of the program — for a day of competition and camaraderie in
support of Aggie Baseball.

The event raised over $12,000, with all proceeds directly benefiting the UC Davis Baseball team and its continued commitment to student-athlete development and program growth.

The Nichol Foursome — Matt Nichol, Dennis Duran, Craig Lanza, and Adam Young — claimed first place, followed by the Reedy Foursome — Al Mietus, Jerry Reedy, David Burroughs, and Scott Nelson — in second place.

Individual contest winners included Theo Forshey for the Longest Drive and Tim Anderson for Closest to the Pin.

Following the tournament, participants enjoyed a post-round reception and raffle featuring an array of exclusive prizes, including wine tastings, tickets to the 49ers, Warriors, Giants, Kings, and A’s, and a Daniel Descalso–signed jersey, among other items.

The UC Davis Baseball program extends its appreciation to all players, sponsors, and volunteers who contributed to another successful event in support of Aggie Baseball.
