18 of 162 as the South Siders host the series finale against the athletics today before heading off on a 10 day, 10 game road trip across three cities, Boston, Minnesota and Then to Sacramento to play these very A’s who are here today, but no rest for the weary first things. First sox need to end their current three game skid today before looking ahead at that upcoming road trip, bring them out, bring them out. Davis Mart-n will take the mound and welcome to the show, Edgar Caro, 22 year old will come on to the field for the first time as a big leaguer everywhere he’s been, he’s been the youngest player in the league, certainly the youngest player on his team. And now he’s at the highest level he can be at in a day where he will remember most everything that went on and hopefully for him, he can make an auspicious debut here this afternoon. Right away, Lawrence butler waste no time, a fair ball down into right field. Lawrence heading for two extra bases to lead it off for the A’s. How about that? The law dog taking an early bite and Lawrence continues to hit now 16 hits in his last 43 at bats. So Jacob Wilson will be the hitter another fair ball this one again into right field on the first base line and easing into home for the first score will be Lawrence Butler back to back doubles and Jacob Wilson picking up the first RB I today back to back sacks for the green and gold to start this party. And it is a one ball game for the A, it’s now 1st and 3rd for the first baseman Seth Brown to one for Mart-n in the air down the left field line in foul territory. Long run Baldwin there makes the grab. Mart-n limits that damage. They get one and strand two to the bottom of the first JP Sears who is on for his fourth start 17 innings and, er, a just over four SOX have really hit him very well. Three, two inside and Myra with a leadoff walk two away and here is Miguel Vargas, the third baseman to left field Rooker under it, moving to his right, makes the cash about 35 ft from the left field foul line and the inning is over. So no runs a harmless walk and one lap. We’re through an inning. It’s the A one and the white sox nothing. Top of the second inning one, nothing. The A lead. It as Johnny Pereda will lead things off strike three called first punch out for DavisMart-n. Mart-n. There are two away, been a while since we’ve seen Max Schumann hasn’t played in six days since the 17th. Hasn’t had an at bat since April the eighth and Scan getting ahead, head over to second, mid Michael. A Taylor loses the ball on the third and a triple for Max Schuman that long between at bats. Your first at bat, you triple. That one just did get past the right fielder Taylor. Now Butler, a chance to drive him home pounded with the ground at second with the flip and the strand Schuman. So will start off the bottom half of the second inning with the White Sox down one to and Sosa will pick up the first hit of the day for the White Sox. They get the out on Taylor one away. Sosa is still at first. Here’s the major league debut or the say his first at bat in the big leagues from edgar Carro and I want to hit him in his first plate appearance, hit by a pitch cars on at first. So on at second one away and here’s Brooke Baldwin two on one out and the 12 pitch ground ball. And here it is, Wilson flipped to m on the first to so a 643 inning ending double play, no runs hit, hit batsman one lap. We’re through two. It’s the A one and the White Sox may trying to stay with it but it will be Brent Rooker with an infield single here in the third , excuse me, six and it popped up shallow left center Amaya. The shortstop will be called off by Baldwin and he’ll make kind of a basket catch at the waist that started in center field and got blown to straight away left field. Rooker gets the board on an error, but the A is unable to do anything with that, issuing a two out walk. So there will be a lot more pitches on the total, especially if Andrew can get something done. This one on the ground is short. The shortstop had as routine as easy a play as you can find. And I think he just took the eye off the ball. It will be an error and the inning is still alive. So the two out walk and Then the error and the White Sox have a little opportunity here in the third inning in center field slams his back down. The wind will kick around the baseball, but at medium depth makes the catch in center field to retire the side. All is well that ends well for JP Sears. He’s through three scoreless bottom of the fourth edgar Carroll for the second time. He was hit by a pitch in his first career plate appearance in the second. This one hit hard and Lawrence Butler able to back it up to retire the Sox in order in the fourth inning 123 innings for JP Sears. The A’s lead by one going into the fifth five in a row and eight of nine retired by DavisMart-n. Mart-n. And here is Lawrence Butler. Lawrence Butler gets a hold of this Lawrence Butler. Wow. Number two on the season, it’s two to nothing. Lawrence Butler with a towering home run. His second of the year, his fifth RB I, and it’s two A is that ball well struck and it’s another 123 inning for Sears. He’s retired straight is not allowed a hit since the second innings allowed. The one hit. We’re through five complete. It’s the A’s two in the white Sox Rooker starts off the sixth inning with a single to left. That’s the fifth hit for the A’s here today off DavisMart-n. Mart-n. Here is JJ activity J JB to right field and J JB have a home run makes it four to nothing. And JJ with two homers on the season and the A now lead four to nothing that just did tuck inside that right field foul pole just his second strikeout. He’s retired eight straight again. He hasn’t allowed a hit since the second only hit. He allowed that single by so in the second inning. So here’s a bit sharp, 02 hits this one off the end of the bat and it’s going to fall in the right field just like that. Just a little luck every now and Then the second hit today for the Sox two away and here’s Sousa, the designated hitter hit hard by Sousa in right center field and it’s going to get down. He will get to third the White Sox starting to put some hits together here in the sixth inning that will bring up Taylor who is zero for two first and third with two outs. Pereda all over and will make the catch no runs, two hits, two left. We’re through six. It’s the A four and the White Sox is doing a nice job here getting the first two outs in the seventh. Now, Soderstrom got a 40 lead even though he’s gone zero for three, Tyler to right field, make it number nine. It is gone. Soderstrom has done it again. There is nothing in the world that you can use to cool this guy off right now. His ninth home run league leading ninth home run of the year, his third home run, the series is a missile to right field and now it’s five to nothing. Athletics doesn’t matter, right handed pitcher, left handed pitcher and now he’s one ahead of Cal Raley for the major league lead pitch in the ball game. It’s Noah Murdock on for the seventh time is, er, a over eight great job by JP Sears. Six innings. No runs on just three hits, walked a couple fanned a couple a cat like reflexes. Robs. The kid Edgar Cara was looking for his first big league, he said not today. And that’s that for the Sox. They go quietly 123 to the eighth. It’s 5 a.m. with an error and Robert is on with one out. Second time. Vaughn is fouled out to first that will bring up Vargas with two outs in the inning. Vargas with the grounder Wilson is throw over and will beat it out. Innings still alive for Leine Sousa three one and ball, four bases are loaded and Palacios will step to the plate. TJ mcfarland will come in to try and put a stop to this threat from the White Sox with bases loaded. Do it shallow right field and puts the squeeze on it. Tj does his job and gets the final out of the eighth and keeps it a five to nothing advantage for the athletics five nothing. The A are leading it the first pitch of the max that’s hit to right field for a base hit down the line over together to Palacios. He’ll glove it now in trouble all the way to the wall and Schuman rounding second base digging for third and he’ll get to third and we’ll see how they rule it. So that is not an error. They scored that a triple for Schumann. So he has two triples in the game. And now Jacob Wilson wilson is one for four RB. I doubled in the first infield comes in. Jacob wilson that’s going to land fair. Driving in a run. Wilson extra bases as have to play it off the wall, a double, double day for Jacob Wilson Wilson, his team leading sixth double of the year and the A’s now have 12 hits. It’s six nothing athletics. So here’s Rooker Rooker two for four on the day. Rooker out to left field and he adds to the home run day for the swinging a home number five on the season for Rooker. Rooker, a two run shot. It’s now eight to nothing. Alexander, looking to get three more outs will step in with two out. He’s zero for one pitch hit in the seventh and grounded out. Next pitch is swung on and lifted to left center is under it. So his Rooker will be Rooker to make the catch and the ball game is over and the A’s have won it. They get the shutout win eight to nothing outstanding win for the ball club. The A’s win it by a final score of eight to nothing.

I feel bad for Sox fans. It might be 120 losses again.
WE STILL LOVE YOU MIGUEL 🗣️❤️
The Athletics are 9-10🟢🟡⚪️
The A's are on a roll, keep it going.
I know it's a longshot, but can y'all imagine the A's in the World Series in Sacramento. Wishful thinking. 😊

Go A's ! I love em !!

idk why I still watch this Sox team
SELL THE TEAM$$$ – both A’s and Sox fans deserve better from baseball.
Wilson is a ROY contender
Why is she still calling play by play makes the As sound like more of a triple A team
Kick'in A's and takin names. I've just written MLB and asked that all A's games this season are played against the White Sox. Hope to get an answer soon.
Been calling Noah Murdock "Daredevil" and each game makes it more and more fitting.
This season, in their 4 wins (fewest in the AL), the White Sox have scored an amazing 7.71 runs per game. In their 14 losses (most in the AL), they've scored a putrid 1.64 runs per game! Plus, the team batting average of .196 is worst in the MLB. 😡 I sadly think the Sox will break their worst-season record from last year.😥
That Catch ! 8:24
Id call this a tank series, but the A's aren't too bad this season. I think they're a pitcher or 2 away from a playoff spot.
I love how Butler gives a fan a souvenir after every 3rd out.
Let's go White Sox!
The White Sox are a disgraceful team. There are players who don't belong in the major leagues.
Lets go OakLand.
Besbol🇺🇲⚾️
Makes you wonder how we ever got 4 whole wins.
There is nothing fun at all about this White Sox team
The defensive play in RF for Chicago was absolutely atrocious

In a shed in Sacramento, at an A's press conference:
John Fisher: Hmmm…White Sox next. Since they're so bad, I'm going to give all our players a day off.
Manager: Wow, John, I didn't know you cared about your players! I'm sure they'll really enjoy this. They work really hard, and deserve to see their families.
John Fisher: I don't care about them. Plus, they're all lazy bums who proably don't have any families. I'm only giving them the day off so we aren't legally required to pay them.
Manager: Um…okay, but who's going to play then? The White Sox might be bad, but they are still a Major League Baseball team. Should we call up a minor league team?
John Fisher: No, we'd still have to pay them. I have a better idea, how about a Little League team?
Manager: Sir, there's a problem with that…not a single Little League team in California is willing to play for you. What should we do?
John Fisher: Tell them they're going to get paid after the game, then don't pay them! Simple!
Manager: Um…alright…
Meanwhile, on the Southside of Chicago:
White Sox owner: Hmmm..this might be our toughest challenge yet.
Manager: What is it? Are we playing the Dodgers? The Yankees? The Padres?
Owner: Oh, much worse. The A's are sending up a local Little League team to play against us!
Manager: Toughest challenge yet? They're literally kids! This should be an easy win! We'll just knock off a few easy games, then who knows, maybe we won't be the laughingstock of the MLB anymore!
Owner: No but that's exactly the point! We have to lose, it's our sworn duty! We're the White Sox!
Manager: But how are we going to do that?
Owner: Just walk the kids, let them score a few runs, then strike them out and don't score any runs ourselves!
Manager: But that's too obvious…like we're trying to lose. Remember what happened the last time we did that in 1919?
Owner: Oh yeah that's right…how about instead of four walks to lose a run, we give up one walk and then…three balks!! Oh yeah, that's a way to lose! Let's just make sure not to score a run.
Manager: Ok…let's do it!
**White Sox lose the game**
Much Needed Sweep for the A’s ! ✅
