Got out late morning for my first ever solo round. Off the tee was about 245ish yard 3-wood slightly uphill. Approach was an 8 iron from 135 yards out and about 30+ feet uphill. Ended up as my only bird on the way to 87

I hit the flag on a short-ish par 4 with my tee shot this summer.
Closest I’ve ever been to an ace.
There was so much adrenaline that I missed the 2ft put for eagle.
I don’t know if I’ll ever get over it.
