FARMINGDALE, NEW YORK (WILX) – The 2025 Ryder Cup is set to tee off Friday at Bethpage Black Golf Course in New York. Team USA has its eyes set on winning the Ryder Cup back after losing in 2023 in Italy to Team Europe 16 1/2 – 11 1/2.

The opening ceremony for the event was moved up from Thursday to Wednesday due to inclement weather expected in the New York area Thursday. The opening ceremony will air on the Golf Channel.
