Everything except the Driver and 56 were bought 2nd hand, the 3H was free from a family member. I'm 29 rounds in since the beginning of August, 16 of those being 9 holes. I did start with lessons and a ton of range time. I never swung a club before taking lessons.

No 3 wood?
Solid set, wait til you want to get fitted and the $x000 price tag that comes there
I’m considering the ai smoke irons myself, what’s your opinion from a newbie perspective? I’ve been swinging old cobra airs I bought second hand all year.
Wait til you start playing golf on drugs!
Crack would not have been a cheaper option when you’re smoking 3-5 grams a day.
The clubs keep working after the first hit. Coke’s only cheaper for the first few months.
Why not both?
Get a putter cover and store it near your driver not your wedges.
Wait till you combine drugs AND golf
I know a guy that did meth and lost everything. You can afford golf.
But would the drugs give you the high and lows of golf?
Depending on the drugs, it is most certainly not.
At least the drugs won’t ruin your life like Golf does.
My cousin sells meth if you’re trying to switch it up, big dog?
I feel you! I played golf as a child until my teens, then got back into it at 33. Played 4 rounds of 18 in September and now I go weekly to the indoor sim, got a membership. Been needing out on the data. Going to get lessons this winter and then buy new gear.
Same here dawg, baked while playing is my vice and will forever by my vice, this sport is addicting to me and gotta get more bread to get fitted, I have the Nike sq irons, ping 6410 driver, titleist 60 degree spin milled vokey, and a odyssey putter plus a Scotty Newport 1.0. The game is too fun and I can’t wait for next summer, also got golf shoes with cleats cause I was slipping, but I’m right there with ya dawg it’s coke and champagne
Yup, it’s an expensive sport.
I’m right there with you brother. Started back in June and fully addicted.
Similar to you, the majority of clubs in my bag at the moment are second-hand, and I know a big $$$ purchase is somewhere in my imminent future.
I’ve made a deal with myself not to buy new irons or any big purchases until I’ve stuck with golf for more than 6 months, and I’ve shot a 50 or under at my local 9h municipal course. I thought this would buy me heaps of time as a beginner who was averaging 65~ strokes. Then last week I shot a 56 and hit every single fairway…
I’m in huge trouble.

My CBZs are a cheat code. I’m relearning how to play around the green due to how much control they (54 and 58) offer me.
Well thats not true.. let’s not spread that messaging
