Max Homer has called time on his 2025 PGA Tour season after battling a painful ankle bone spur that flared up during the Bank of Utah Championship. Despite the discomfort, Homer closed his final round with a flawless 5 under 66 at the Black Desert Resort. The former top 10 player, who hasn’t won in two years, admitted the injury made it hard to walk and said he plans to undergo surgery during the offseason. Calling his year disappointing but educational, Homer shared on Instagram that he’s determined to make 2026 his female dog as he works to reclaim his best form. This season, he managed one top 10 finish and two top 20 results in the FedEx Cup 4. Friends, what is your opinion about this? Share in the comments.
