LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. – All six Philadelphia area Division I men’s golf programs will compete for city bragging rights at the annual Big 5 Invitational on Thursday. The 18-hole competition will be held at Union League Liberty Hill, with tee times beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The Owls are coming off their best result of the fall with a fourth-place finish at the Lehigh Invitational over the weekend. Freshman Nicholas Pisarski was the top finisher with a tie for eighth place showing at the event. Three other Owls closed in a tie for 11th place – senior Jake Naese, and sophomores Mason Tomé and William Jun.
At last season’s event, a pair of Owls, including recent graduate Ethan Whitney, finished in a tie for eighth individually as the Owls closed in fourth place. In addition to Temple, Drexel, Penn, La Salle, Saint Joseph’s and Villanova will also compete.
