Harry Brooks discusses Tyrese Hall on Lilywhite Lounge podcast

Um, okay. So, we’ve got a message from question from Momo Slack, who says, “Given Spurs have needed a deepline playmaker. Does Tyrese Hall, who I know you’re a fan of, um, have the physicality, consistent passing range, and defensive awareness to play in a Spurs pivot next season? Um, especially as Harry’s coached him, I think, so someone.” Yeah. Um, Ty Ty is a fantastic footballer. um one of the most talented I’ve ever worked with. In fact, there there’s not a player I can say that I’ve worked with that is more talented than Tai. Um he finds football easy. Um he’s the best version of himself would solve a lot of Spurs issues right now. Um but you know, Tai’s playing his first season of men’s football. You can’t underestimate how that takes how he’s doing phenomenally well. Um, but you can’t underestimate how much you learn by doing that. You know, it can take players a season to even just get used to the physicality of that. It’s a it’s a it’s a way of doing things they’ve never done before. So, yeah, of course, he could play for Tottenham next season. Like I said, he’s a phenomenal player. Um, but you know, you’re you should be patient as well and and do things the right way. And, you know, he’s doing really well at Knots County right now. Let’s just stay focused on keep doing really really well. Have you future will take care of itself? Have you been surprised that he’s been playing further forward? Um not really for the reason being I think a lot of um managers will trust that. It’s just it’s just they they if they’re going to be the ones to give a player the opportunity um in the first team um and they’re going to be the ones to see if they can do it, they’d probably rather he’s further away from their own goal. Not just Tai just in general players like that. Um, so I’m not surprised, but and I’m not surprised at all that he’s doing really well because he’s just a really marvelous footballer. Um, Tai’s never been he he’s certainly in the last couple years, he’s um his number one asset hasn’t been goals in and around the box, but he’s just that good. So, of course, he can do it. Um, is he one of those Don’t underestimate rare players who you think could play six, eight, 10 to a Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. 1,00%. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And he’s learning a lot about off the ball game as well, which is really improving, which is fantastic.
