POWELLS POINT, N.C. – The Drexel golf team shot a four-over-par 283 in the third round of the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Monday afternoon. The Dragons finished fifth of 16 teams at the Kilmarlic Golf Club, a par-71, 6,554 yard course.

After playing 27 holes on Sunday, Drexel returned to the course this morning for the front half of the second round and the entirety of the third round. After shooting five-over-par 147 in the first two rounds, Kevin Lydon finished the final round shooting two-under-par 69 to climb into 12th place. Caleb Taylor also turned in a 12th place finish, shooting two-over-par 73 in the second round and a one-over-par 72 in the third round. 

William & Mary led the 16-team field, firing 5-under par in each the second and third rounds to cancel out the 10-over-par score it finished with in the first round. Georgetown finished second, while Longwood and East Carolina finished ahead of Drexel.

The Dragons return to the region to play in the Big 5 Championship at Union League Liberty Hill, a par-72 course in Lafayette Hill, Pa. on Thursday, October 30.
