After Ouattara and Schade had found the net for the Bees, Milos Kerkez reduced the deficit for the visitors on the brink of half-time. Thiago struck from the penalty spot to restore the west Londoners’ two-goal advantage, before Mohamed Salah’s late finish set up a nervy finish. Keith Andrews’ side stood firm during more than 10 minutes of stoppage time to secure a memorable victory in TW8.

I'm an Arsenal & Galatasaray fan with sympathies for Leeds United but I must admit I have fallen in love with this fantastic Brentford team. What a true fighting and spirited team this is. Keith Andrews is also doing a masterful splendid job. The referee was not very good and was a bit pro-Liverpool IMO. Best matches I have seen this year is with Brentford, especially vs Manu. Respect and all good wishes for Brentford (I lived in London for several years) and their fantastic supporters from Türkiye & Ecuador! ❤🤍
