Kai Trump, granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, was gifted a custom Whoop band typically reserved for members of the Team USA Ryder Cup team and Whoop employees.

The 18-year-old shared her experience at the 2025 Ryder Cup, which took place at Bethpage Black, in a vlog on her YouTube channel, which has over 1.2 million subscribers. In the video titled “So I went to the Ryder Cup with my Grandpa,” Kai expressed that her grandfather’s presence made the event “special” and proudly displayed her new accessory.

“Whoop made me a custom-made Team USA band. I’m gonna take it off so I can show you guys,” she said during the vlog. It comes after Kai seemingly let Donald Trump secret slip after concerns over the president’s health.

In the video, Kai then showed off the red Whoop band featuring the official Ryder Cup insignia. “Ryder Cup 2025,” she announced, “And then Team USA on the end. Only Team USA players and some Whoop members have this. I’m so lucky to have this. This is so awesome. Also matches my nails.”

Currently a high school senior in Florida, Kai is set to attend the University of Miami on a golf scholarship next year.

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami,” she confirmed in an Instagram post.

“I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point.

“I would like to thank my Grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support.”

Kai, daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, has been in the spotlight since her parents’ split a few years back. Vanessa is now dating golf superstar Tiger Woods, who boasts 15 major championships.

The Ryder Cup saw Team USA fall to Team Europe with a score of 15-13. Despite having the president present on the first day, the American team fell behind by two points.

Despite a valiant effort on Sunday, the Americans couldn’t pull off a comeback. Shane Lowry’s six-foot birdie ensured Europe retained their title.

American captain Keegan Bradley reflected on the loss, saying, “If you win, it’s glory for life. If you lose, it’s like saying, ‘I’m going to have to put up with this for the rest of my life,'”.

He added, “There’s nothing in me that thinks I’ll ever top this.”

The US president further explained, “You put so much effort and all that planning into it, and then the first two days went as badly as we could have ever imagined.”

Kai often enjoys a round of golf with her grandfather, President Trump. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, she said, “I just don’t view it as him being the president. I view it as, he’s my grandpa. We’re gonna go out there and play golf,” She added, “We play golf all the time. It’s nothing new.”
