I’m a fairly new to golf. Had lessons on and off.
I just bought a set of irons for around $250 used

They are pured and have an upgraded shaft.
Shaft says SteelFiber i80 by Aerotech

I can still return them. Appreciate the help 🙂

Didn’t make a mistake?

Sounds like a good deal to me! These are great clubs and should serve you for a long time.

You’re fine. Play em. Don’t get buyers remorse. It’s a pretty good set for a new golfer and you’ll improve more with good instructions vs good equipment.

Great clubs for that price they’re a steal bro. Will def last you a good amount of years if you want them to

  4. You have them now so that’s what you use. My mate who is a sandbagging mofo has a handicap of 24 and he just got these. So you should know they are good they are for the mid to low handicap but learning on these will only make you better

Steal of a price…helluva starter set. Would have cost almost $1600 new. Good set for a newbie.

That’s a great deal, enjoy them

I’m sorry bro you got scammed. I’ll give you what you paid for them. No need to thank me it’s the least I can do.

Saw a similar set at my local shop for around $450 the other day.

I had the exact same irons with the Steelfiber i95. “Upgraded” to Srixon ZXi5 about a month ago. Wish I can go back. That’s a great price for a great set of irons. You did well.

2019 Callaway Apex irons. I have the same set with True Temper steel shafts. They are quite sexy and these would appear to be in just as good of shape as my used set I bought on CPO three years ago. They are a bit less forgiving than straight up game improvement irons but learning to hit them will make you a better golfer. Good find!

Definitely a mistake … I’ll give you 300d for them just so you feel like you got a win. 😉

I love my apex irons and am angry they stopped making new versions.

The only thing I can think of is that the shaft might be too light for you. But the irons themselves are fantastic.

Hellofa deal. I game apex pro 16s which are pretty similar to those… still have yet to find irons i like better

$250? What’s the mistake? These are fantastic clubs.

Depends what flex they are and what your swing speed is, if they are stiff/X flex and you swing like most beginners they will not be very fun for you to learn with.

On Callaway Pre Owned the lowest price for an 8 club set is $492 for “average” condition steel shafts. So, without a real inspection of the condition an confirming they are built correctly, I’d say you got a smoking deal.

Great clubs at a great price. The only issue might be that you are a beginner, and I believe this issue is aimed at lower handicaps. Give them a try, and if they feel good, then it’s a good start.

Also have the same clubs, 250 is a steal. I bought them in mint condition for 500 euro. I have graphite shafts with medium grips and i absolutely love them.
