Gotta be honest, I got similarly annoyed at my club that a member (or their guest, or I suppose a charity event guest) would do that.

Looks like 2 divots, one facing the flag pin and the divot on the left aimed 2:00 with the pin at 12:00

Hunting cameras on the greens. Ban em from the course for the rest of us that respect the property.
That’s the weirdest “divot” I’ve ever seen.
As an amateur peon, this kind of stuff really ices my veins.
It doesn’t look man made.
Current club pro at a public course. The lack of respect for the course, staff, and other players has skyrocketed in the last 5 years. The vast majority of players are fine, but I’m dealing with issues like this, slow play, disorderly conduct, playing extra holes, and plain ole obnoxiousness way more than I’ve ever had to in the last couple of years.
I’ll be leaving the industry soon, as I’ve gotten a degree and will be pursuing a career in that, but I’d be lying if I said that this type of stuff didn’t play a little bit of a factor. It’s infuriating and the people that do this have little to no remorse.
At this point, the price of cameras on each green should easily be justified by the time it takes multiple people to speculate on what can be demystified by footage…
Few of these at a club i played at yesterday. Really annoying.
You should see what the greens look like where I play. I walk around repairing pitch marks on every damn green – looks like the face of the moon. Nobody even blinks an eye, not even groundkeepers.
I came upon a 4 inch wide by 1ft deep hole on our 15th hole green and my first thought was that the group in front of me beat the shit out of the green with their putter, but after thinking a little more, turns out it was just a bastard ground squirrel 😂
I know it’s hard but you cannot let these things get to you.

Former assistant superintendent here- A divot like this is luckily very easily fixable. Quick plug and noone will notice. With this being said, it always hurts to see.
Happens alot if people have money on the game and make them play it as it lies after an errant teeshot. No excuse in my opinion
