One pin, three shots!

Right. I found the hardest shot here on the short game area. Down slope, down, up. Pins only eight feet on and it’s quick. I’m going to show you three ways to still get it close. Number one, a hybrid. Just run it the whole way. Down and back up. There’s the hybrid. Right, the other one. Eight iron. Bump it into the bank. Let the bank take some of the speed out the ball. It should just run down. There we go. All right. There’s two ways of doing it. And the other one is go aerial and just throw it right up. Okay. So, three ways to get it close. this very awkward pin position.

  1. This is one of the short game shot I practice most, expect off real tight or crappy hairy lies on even more of a downslope. If you can get comfortable hitting flops off a heavy downsloped hard pan or buried lie, you can get the ball up and down from anywhere.

  2. There are actually only too options open to most golfers for lets say 90% of the time, A. thin it across the green and B. fat it 5 feet.

  3. Th highone, is the super high tariff, the hybrid is tough to get the speed right, could easily be 25ft past, so he 8i is he safe one.

  4. Hybrid doesn’t work when there is some slope. My hybrid sloped right into a bunker. User error of course
