This is a $600 Tailor Made driver. And this is a $140 knockoff tailorade driver from AliExpress. And this is just one of the many knockoff golf products I’ll be testing in this video to find out if any of them are as good as the real thing. First knockoff product here is a Scotty Cameron putter. Scotty Camerons are the most popular putter in golf. A ton of PGA Tour players use them, but they’re also some of the most expensive putters in golf, which make them a prime target for scams. I have a knockoff for $71 and a real Scotty Cameron putter cost about $500 brand new. The AliExpress listing for this thing was pretty hilarious. It read men’s putter golf club low center of gravity with ball picking function and the pictures for it were literally just the Scotty Cameron pictures, but the Scotty Cameron logo was blurred out. For every single one of these knockoff items, we’re going to be testing out the appearance and then the performance. So, this is the fake one. This is the real one. As you can see, the fake one still has like the stitching in it. There’s still like a connecting thread. The fake one, it’s AM N exclusive for Titus, made in USA. I feel like that’s a bold claim. That’s probably not true. And the real Scotty Cameron one, Scotty Cameron design exclusively for Titus. Number one ball in golf. Anyone else find it interesting that the real one says made in Vietnam, but the fake one says made in America? Enough yapping. Let’s open these puppies up. So this is Mr. Fake Scotty Cameron and this is Mr. Real Scotty Cameron. These are literally the exact same putter. It’s the super select Newport 2. The text is the biggest thing. The font is pretty much just totally different for the Scotty Cameron portion of it. The quality of like the metal definitely way different. Like this one you can tell it’s a little bit like speckly. Uh whereas this one you can tell it’s like it’s smooth, it’s mil, it’s got like the grooves in it. Pretty much everything on these putters when you look at it closely is just a little bit different. Just found something here. But when I drop, that’s the fake one. Whereas when I drop the real one, I’m going to hit a little 5-footer here with the real Scotty Cameron to get a baseline. I hit putts with both putters and honestly the waiting and the feel wasn’t that different, but the sound definitely was. This is the real Scotty Cameron. Oh yeah, clean. Oh, makes the putt. Knockoff Scotty Cameron. I did some research on Reddit how to determine whether a Scotty Cameron is fake or not. If you take a magnet to a real Scotty Cameron putter, it won’t stick because it’s made out of real stainless steel. A fake Scotty Cameron is made out of less quality steel and so a magnet will stick better to it. So, we’re going to test that out right now. Here’s a real Scotty Cameron. Here’s the magnet. Oh, now let’s try out the fake Scotty Cameron. It confirmed what we already know. It’s super fake. For every product, we’re going to be determining whether it’s same or lame. I feel like it’s pretty obvious with this one. This thing is lame. Next up is a knockoff Golf Pride golf grip. So, this is a $4 knockoff grip and this is a $12 real golf pride grip. Guys, I’m going to be honest with you. The logos look exactly the same. The designs in them look exactly the same. The only thing that’s a little bit different is the tag on the bottom. The bottom of them is a little bit different as well. Maggie’s going to mix them up for me. She’s going to hand them to me and see if I can tell the difference between the real and the fake. I’m not even going to try and guess because I don’t I genuinely don’t know. I’m going to say this is the fake one. This is the real one. But that’s literally just 50/50 chance guessing. That’s correct. I got that correct. But you literally can’t tell the difference. Um, maybe this one is a real golf pie grip and they’re just selling it on AliExpress or Teimu. Definitely could be the case. $4 versus $12. I feel like there’s not that much of a difference. I would say same. Our next product is a knockoff perfect practice mat. I’ve got a real perfect practice mat behind me. This thing is $160 for the base model and this guy right here is $58. So, we’re going to open this up and see exactly how it compares to the real thing. [Music] Wow, that’s got some weight to it. That actually feels really good. So, this thing right here has these two little like connectors and then it pops into the side here. So, a little bit of a different design than the real perfect practice mat. This one’s a little bit more seamless. This thing right here is like built in to the actual unit. This one, you can tell, is actually made out of like that’s actual wood. This one is definitely plasticky laminate. I’m going to hit a 5ft putt on both just to see how they roll, if there’s any difference. Okay, we know how that one rolls. Oo, did not love that. Let’s try that. Let’s give it another try. Ooh, honestly, this thing is worse than it looks. The turf is way too thick. It makes the ball roll all over the place. And the feature that’s supposed to return your ball doesn’t even work. Watch when it comes down. Come on. I don’t think we need to do any more here. It’s lame. Next product are these knockoff golf specific Oakley radars. Better believe I got the real thing right here. These guys are $9. These guys are $244. So, first things first, looking at them straight on, honestly, not that much is different. When you flip them upside down, you can see that there’s a lot of differences with the nose piece. So, the fake ones just have a plastic nose piece, whereas the real ones have the rubber like slip-on nose piece. Let’s try the real ones on. Get a baseline. Ooh, those are nice, comfy. They’re light. Oh, yeah. Those are good. All right, let’s try the fake ones on. Throwing on the fake ones. They’re really tight on my head. The nose piece kind of digs into my nose. Definitely would give me a headache after wearing them for like more than 20 minutes. The comfortability is night and day. It’s not even close. No need to deliberate anymore. These are lame. Next product, we have a knockoff Lab Golf putter from AliExpress. This was $124 compared to a real one, which is $559. These are the hottest putters in the game right now. Every other club company is copying these putters. So, you better believe AliExpress and Teimu are trying to knock this thing off. Lot of discrepancies here with the head cover. Similar to the Scotty Cameron, just the stitching is like not great. It’s just all flat. The real one is like puffed out. Definitely higher quality. Another big one with the words lopsided all over the place. The letters are out of whack. And then the real one is obviously a lot tighter. Also, if you’re wondering why the authentic one is a little bit beat up, this is my personal putter and I’ve been using it for like 3 years. Let’s open this puppy up and see how it looks. Oo, a blue one. Okay, it looks like a legit lab golf putter. These putters are fun because there’s a little bit more of a test to these. These are lie angle balance, so they’re supposed to stay square through the entire swing and they have a little device that you can test it out with. So, we’re definitely going to be testing this thing out. Uh, but first, let’s take a look. Okay, there it is. First thing off the rip. I mean, that looks like a legitimate lab golf putter. If you handed me this in a golf store, I would say, “Yeah, 100% that’s a real.” Even the details on the grip, like it has the little Lab Golf logos on there. This thing by itself looks legit. Let’s see what it looks like up against an actual Lab Golf putter. So, this is my personal putter. This thing’s a little bit used. So, right off the rip, you can see that some of the screws are in different places. Like the weights are in in different places. From the front, they look exactly the same. So, the same thing that happened with the Scotty Cameron real one. Oh, look at that. Literally the the screw is literally popping out. Look at that. Just from hitting it on the ground a few times. Even though the build quality doesn’t seem amazing, I still think this is one of the better knockoffs we’ve tested in this video, it really does look like a Lab Golf putter. But the question is, can it perform like one? I hit a few 15 ft putts with both of the putters just to see how they perform. And honestly, I couldn’t really tell the difference. They sounded the same. The waiting was pretty much the same. And the way the ball felt off the face was pretty much the same. But we still got one final test. Lab Golf makes this device called a revealer, a handheld thing that you clip this putter into and allows it to swing freely. I could not get my hands on a revealer. So, I’ve made my own little Home Depot special here just to show you how the revealer works. A normal laid putter like this, watch when I swing it back and forth. It just it swings all over the place. The toe hangs down. It’s got no control whatsoever. Bada bing, bada boom. So, here’s what a real lab golf putter should look like. It’s spinning freely. It stays square the entire way through. You see that? The putter head does not move around. Now, let’s see if the fake Lab golf putter can do what this guy just did. Moment of truth. Does it stay straight? Oh. Oh, it’s got some wobble to it. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s get that one more time. Fake Lab golf putter is lame. Next up, we have knockoff golf balls. This is a real Tailor Made Tour Response golf ball. And this is a fake Tailor- made to response golf ball. This one obviously says Tailor Made and Tour Response on the back. And this one says super new and soft 3P on the back. I feel like what really determines whether or not a golf ball is the same quality is hitting it and seeing how it spins, seeing how it reacts to the club face. So, that’s exactly what we’re going to do. I’ve got a brand new Garmin R50 launch monitor. This thing is legit and it tells you what the spin rates are for golf balls. So, we’re going to hit both of these with the same exact club and determine whether or not they have similar spin rates. And I feel like that should give us a pretty accurate test. We’ve got our real Tailor Made golf ball. We’re going to get a baseline. I’m also swinging my brand new Tacomao Sky Forger wedge 60°. After hitting both balls, the average spin rate for the real one was 9500 and the average spin rate for the fake one was 9100. So, not that big of a difference, but I did notice something about the fake one after just a few swings. I just noticed after one hit, literally the decal is already peeling off. Confirmed. Not better than the real thing. Flame. Our next product is these knockoff golf shoes. These guys are straight from Teimu and they’re meant to look like G4 Gallivanter golf shoes, which I just so happen to have a pair of the real thing as well. Off the rip. I mean, they literally look exactly the same. I feel like it probably isn’t that hard to make really good knockoff shoes. So, we’re going to test these bad boys out. Let’s put them on. While I’m putting these on, I figured it’s a good time to tell you guys about Bombas. Bombas makes super high quality socks, and they also do good. So, for every sock that you buy, they actually donate a pair of socks to those in need. To date, they’ve actually donated over 150 million items, which that’s a lot of items, ladies and gentlemen. I’m a big fan of like the midlength ankle socks. I wear them in all my videos. I’ve been wearing them the past like 5 years, and Bombos has some really good options for those, especially these vintage ones with the two stripes. Also, holiday season is upon us, and Bombos socks are the ultimate Christmas gift. They kind of fit everybody. Literally, you can get a good gift for somebody while also doing good. New customers get 20% off your first purchase. So, head over to bombas.com and use code josh20 for 20% off your first purchase. Let’s check these shoes out. Let’s just do a quick visual test here. I mean, they pretty much look the same. You can tell. I mean, technically, they’re not the exact same, but literally four circles. Four circles. Insides are a little bit different. The soles. These ones have like a little massage insole and these ones are just regular insoles. The bottoms as well. Same exact pattern for the spikes and the logos are in the same place. The real ones are definitely a little bit more glossy. I’m assuming because it’s probably like real leather, whereas these ones are a little bit more matte. I got both shoes on. I’m going to test them out in the wild. Do a little walk in the grass over here. I would say both shoes are a little bit too slender for my feet. So, in that sense, the knockoff is very similar to the real one. The real one, you can feel the insoles a little bit thicker. They got a little bit more cushion, but I would say overall really not that different. Of the minimal testing that I did, I’d say they’re same. Yeah. Our next product is a knockoff golf course. This is Tour 18 in Dallas, Texas. Every single hole is a replica of a famous hole on the PGA Tour. So, I’m going to be playing a replica of hole number three at Oakmont, the famous Church Pew Bunker hole. The only issue is I’ve never actually played the real Church Pew Bunker hole. So, I brought my friend Luke who actually went to the US Open media day and was able to play one hole while he was there and that hole just so happened to be the Church Pew Bunker hole. So, Luke’s going to be playing the hole and he’s going to let you guys know how it stacks up against the real thing. I actually made a quad last time I played. So, my goal is to make a par. Luke also came ready with his official Oakmont head cover hat and tea. I think he thought that maybe this would give him an edge to try and make a par on the fake version of the course. I’m absolutely making a par. Here we go. Oh, dude. [Music] Bro, that is pounded. What a start. WA. Luke blasted his drive past the church view bunkers, but we stopped there on the way to his ball to see how they stack up against the real thing. The biggest thing at Oakmont is like the the grass. The church pews are like really tall. It’s like huge fescue. If they just grew the grass out, I think it’d be actually pretty pretty legit. But it looks cool either way. Like it looks awesome. It’s very cool and intimidating from the tea. That’s like the biggest thing. Um just the look of it. But let’s go second shot. A little bit of a blind shot here. Yeah, the slopes are crazy. Which actually this has I’m very shocked that this course has the the slope and like elevation change. Oh no. Oh, I think it’s going to work out though. That’s going to be a brutal putt. What I will say is this view right now around us is like identical actually to that green at Oakmont. You just have this vast view of literally everything. But that’s crazy. They have this that is very very similar actually. That’s that’s a good putt though from there. No. Okay, Luke, your professional opinion on our replica hole number three at Oakmont. The view around the the green was actually crazy. I’m still shocked by that. Um, I think that alone just makes it like definitely not lame. I think it was very close, but just not the exact same. I don’t know. Maybe it’s I’d call it slame. Our next knockoff product is a QI35 tailor made driver. This is the real one. This is a $600 driver. This is a fake one. It’s $140 from AliExpress. First things first, let’s take a look at the head covers. There are some subtle differences, but not that much of a difference. Like the only reason you can tell that this one’s the fake one is the indentation of the Qi35 logo here is deeper on this one than it is on this one. But other than that, like tailor made stitching looks pretty much the same. Tailor- made logo on the bottom here looks pretty much the same. Good dupe, I I will say. Let’s see what the actual driver looks like. Right off the rip, you can tell that the fake one is a little bit of a darker gray. I would say as far as details go, this thing is spoton. It is really, really tough to tell. Everything is exactly the same in the exact same spot and like the same dimensions. It really, really is a good dupe. It’s a tough one to tell. It has a legitimate looking Ventus Fuji Kura shaft. Before I hit it, I wanted to put the knockoff to the test. Can an average golfer tell the difference just by looking at it? I’m going to see if my buddy Luke can guess which one is the real one and which one is the fake one. Luke’s a legit golfer, too. This guy knows equipment well. One of these is from AliExpress and one of these is a $600 driver from Golf Galaxy. That’s crazy. I mean, they look identical. This one’s, I guess, a little lighter in color. Yeah. Um, what I mean, they feel almost identical. That’s crazy. Have you hit with any of them? I haven’t hit with them yet. No. Wow. Wow. That’s actually Yeah, they look identical. That’s interesting. I mean, this is more I think this is the standard grip that right that it comes with or you’ve uh you’ve examined. Final guess here, Luke. What do you think? Real versus fake. Um, which one’s real? I would say this one’s real. That is incorrect. This is fake. This is a $124 one from Zimo. I’m actually shocked. Wow. So, we know it looks good, but the question is, does it perform? Both of them are at standard loft. Both of them have XLEX shafts. All variables should be the same. I’m going to get a good swing with the real one just to get a baseline. And then we’re going to get a good swing with the fake one and we will determine whether it’s same or lame. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s do this thing. Oh, that’s as that’s as good as it’s going to get. 162 ball speed, 259 carry. 162 ball speed, 259 carry. We’re going to hit the knockoff Tailor Made Driver. I actually watched a Rick Shields video of him testing one of these out and his first swing, it totally broke. The driver just like fell off the shaft. So hopefully that doesn’t happen. But also, I feel like that’d be kind of fun. Dude, I would say the weight of it feels exactly the same. It looks a tad bit different looking down at it just because of the different color. See what we can do with the fake one. 163 ball speed. Exact same. What’s the carry? What’s the carry? Is that an average? Oh my lanta. So it’s 163 ball speed. A little bit higher ball speed. One 1 m per hour, but look one or 259.7 carry. the one before it. 259.8 carry. Guys, I just hit the same drive with a fake driver and a real driver. I feel like this pains me to say because I I do think the real thing obviously is better and over time is probably going to last you longer than the fake one. But for all intents and purposes, ladies and gentlemen, these are the same. Appreciate you guys watching. Go ahead and click the video on the screen right now. I think uh I think you’re going to like this one.

  1. I bought some midsize grips of AliExpress. I felt the same no difference. Also bought mezz from there. Felt it was the same too. As my real 1 lol

  2. great video. i get all my golf headcovers, grips, and other accessories like towels, belts, watch bands, speakers, tees, ball markers, training aids, etc. from temu and ali and they are all legit and do the job. its all the exact same stuff amazon has for less than half the price if you are willing to wait a week or so. i got 2 fake scottys from ali and one is not great and the other is legit so not all is equal from the websites as well. but i have never tried to return anything either, so i am scared for more expensive knock offs for that reason.

  3. Should’ve cut the fake Taylormade ball in half to see if it’s a three piece ball how the real one is… that would’ve been nice to see how many layers it had.😏

  4. Find yourself a bit more of an expensive Scotty fake (110-150) and some SM10 wedges and run a test. Those cheap ones are just that, cheap, but the latter, well…you'd be surprised.

  5. Fantastic video, NGL if you're desperate enough to buy fake $12 grips for $4, your time is probably better spent gathering free balls from the rough/water lmao

  6. I bought fake golf pride grips and they are pretty legit. I did notice it if I didn’t play regularly they get dried out and I’d have to get them wet…

  7. Anyone who drops $244 on plastic oakleys is lame lol. It literally costs Oakley $3 to make those glasses.

PS – you should’ve popped the fake head on the real shaft

  8. You already know that knock off taylormade is more durable than the real thing LMAO

  9. Ali and temu are great for head covers and towels. I've used the "fake" plus4s and there's nothing wrong with em for the price, if they didn't have the Golf Pride logo on them i'd re grip a whole set with them.

  10. Ali Expres is like a legit business in China its like a Chinese amazon. And just like how there's some booty knock off stuff on amazon there's also that kind of stuff on Ali Express. However Ali Express does sell real items from real vendors so there is a possibility that the grips were exactly the same made by the real company

  11. i started playing early this year and im broke and me and my brother bought the temu set of p790s for about $250 and took a gamble. they're genuinely good clubs in my opinion. our other brother, who's been golfing since about 2017 and is a 2 HCP, likes them and even wanted to look into seeing if they sold clubs individually because he really liked the temu 4 iron.

    good video by the way

  12. Don't pay for Oakley sunglasses. They are owned by Luxotica. Maui Jim's are the only sunglasses you should wear.

  13. The "fake" driver may not be fake at all except that it's not made in a Taylor Made factory. There are stories about how club designs are "shared" among factories in China and how other factories wind up putting out the same clubs but with different names. Here, of course, they're blatantly stealing the Taylor Made name and appearance too. But the club itself may be the same design and the same/similar materials, not just a cheap knock-off made to look like a brand-name product but of much lesser quality.
