What’s going on everybody? Welcome back to the channel. Welcome back to the We got a mic now. Yeah. Swear to God that mic was fully charged. First hole is a 300 yard par4 if you can believe that. Should be an easy scoring opportunity, but we’ll see. Oo. Felt like we hit that a lot harder than we did. Yeah. 48 66 lost 20 yards. Two is a 380 yard par4. Another scoring opportunity. So close yet so far away. Number four is a 336 yard par four. Ah, so close. Number five is a 517 yard par five. Still got a ways to go. Little worm burner there. That’s unfortunate. We’re closer to the pin. Isn’t that nice? Number six is a 300 yard par4. 40 into the pin. Wish that gimme circle was a little bit bigger. 10-footer. A little too firm there. Number seven’s a 450 yard par five. I don’t mind that a bit. Certainly better than a 450 yard par4. Right. That was thick. Hopefully we can get out of here with a nice little chippy chip. Little too hot. number eight. It’s a 370 yard par four. Hey, Alpine Trader. Yeah. Um, I can tell the shot cameras are lagging because I’m I’m barely holding 60 frames a second here. Um, that gave us 10 extra frames. I can back off the graphics a little bit. Uh, now we’re holding about 85 frames. That might help, but sometimes it doesn’t do anything. I need I need to buy a graphics card with more video RAM. I just haven’t done it yet. That shot was really bad. I don’t think it should have been that bad. Uh, we are getting a lot of lag though. There’s nothing I can do about it, unfortunately. It does it all the time. 120. That might not have been enough club. Yeah, I saw that come out when I that came out. Uh yeah, 86 carry. We lost a whole bunch of carry out of there. Um I need to go 119. And so we need to take like two extra clubs here, which is absurd cuz we’re already taking two extra clubs. That might get across. Some of the physics and penalties in GS Pro are just absurd. You hate to take a double on a on a hole so easy. Uh, what else can I do to get rid of some overhead here? Uh if we look at the task manager, we will see the graphics card is probably huffing and puffing pretty good and most of it’s GS Pro. OBS and ProTabs is using some. There’s just nothing I can do. Maybe there’s more in the graphics menu I can knock down. But we’re running at now we’re running at 120 uncapped. Maybe that’ll help. What do we got here? 155. That should help a lot actually. Looks like that was pulled and it’s going to oblivion. Course looks like now though. It looks like something out of the Nintendo 64 catalog. Good shot. However, it will not stay where it needs to stay and I will need to putt. Lucky to get out of there with a par. We’ve been doing pretty good up until that hole where I put the water in the drink. I think the moral of the story is never ever ever ever trust GSP Pro. Take way more club than you think you’re going to need. All right, that’s slightly over the top. Um, that shot wouldn’t do that in real life. Let’s see. So, we got a ways to go. I think we only lose 10% out of here. Let’s see where we’re aimed. Oh, one bunker to another. Par four as well. So, we got to get up and down here. That was literally up and down. We spin 2,000 spin. All right, we’re taking another We’re taking another stroke here, I think. That sucks. Bogey bogey. We about made a very fatal error. I was going to putt with a wedge selected, which would not have gone well. Okay, that didn’t work either. Uh, another par. Uh, probably we’ll try to sink this, but I think it’s going to be a bogue. Yeah, skim the hole. What do we got here? 330 yard par4. That’s exceptionally short. Ah, that sucks. Alpine Traders a streamer, too. I wouldn’t classify myself as a streamer. I actually don’t know why I do this. Um, it costs a lot more money than I make. I don’t make any money. Uh, I would imagine most streamers don’t make any money, but um, he’s doing more research on sim builds. Injured from actual golf. Uh, what happened? When I’m When I’m injured, it’s usually my back. It’s always something with my back. 71 yards streaming streaming into your living room. Turbo Talon Golf. Oh we did it again, boys. Let’s take a look at the numbers. That That kind of hurt. 46 carry, 56 carry. Might have just been a shitty shot. Oh, you pulled the old rib muscle, did you? Yeah. I had to take like two weeks off. I pulled this one under my right tit. I’m glad you’re making money streaming. I got a lot of money invested into this simulator and I don’t think I’ll ever recoup it. I was thinking of starting an only fans, but no butts. It could be good money. It could be damn good money. All right, we’re leaving putts short. We’re doing all kinds of stuff. That’s another double, making some sort of stupid mistakes. Um, you got to you got to be paying attention in the simulator because especially if you’re using GS Pro because the software has specific little rules you’ve got to follow. It’s kind of like playing any other video game. There are rules that exist in that video game and you’ve got to abide by them or you’re going to get your soul crushed. Okay, that one’s drawing slashhooking over, which is a weird ass shot shape for me if I’m being honest. It’s been more prevalent lately. That’s dangerous is what that is. These golf balls fly in a completely different trajectory than the uh premium golf balls do. And I think that hit right off the metal. Safe to say that that’s a first. And I’ve hit a lot of golf balls in here. Parski. It’s sort of for fun. It’s sort of for fun. Honestly, uh I don’t have very much fun in here anymore. It’s just become a grind just to get repetitions. So, it’d be nice if I could start to generate some revenue, but I’d have to generate a lot of revenue to every ever recoup the money I’ve spent for this. Um, outside golf’s pretty fun, but the simulator’s gotten kind of stale. It’s just reps, reps, reps. kind of like anything would eventually become. I ran a business before this and it’s something that I enjoyed doing in the beginning and no longer enjoy doing whatsoever. It sucks, man. Okay, that’s a good way to put your eye out. All right, what do we got to do? 165. Okay, so you just pulled one and then pushed one back to back. Uh, it kind of gets irritating, but no butts. I did this to myself. I started up the simulator and turned on the stream, right? It’s my fault. It’s my fault. Get in that circle. Okay, that was a rough hole, guys. We were lucky to escape with a bogue. Score’s starting to bloat up a little bit. I don’t care for it. We got four holes left. Alpine Trader says, “Nice chip. I appreciate it. Driver’s firing on all cylinders today. Break break. No other club is. So, it’s kind of frustrating. Oh, draw back. Okay, so that was a good shot. Slightly towy six. What do I got to do? I’m in deep rough, so I got to hit a little harder than I want to. This is round one of two. Looks like we just got a birdie. I hope we can get about three more. 175 with a tailwind. Stupid little draw. Sit. Sit. What caused that? I don’t know. Slightly in out with a closed club face. That’ll draw. That’ll draw. That’s how you hit a draw. That is exactly how you hit a draw. different niche. How long ago did you hurt that rib muscle? And was it because you were trying to hit golf balls like Bryson Dshambo? Because that’s how I did it. No joking. No joking. I’m not joking at all. I wasn’t like in there yelling, “Look at me. I’m Bryson Dshambo.” But I was I was going way too hard with driver way too soon cuz I started golfing last summer. That’s a strange shot shape. I started golfing last summer and I was uh trying to become a hot shot with driver and I would just do way too many reps with it. Could probably go all day now and not get hurt. You’d see your ball speed slowly start to drop, but back then I was not in golf shape at all. Um because you kind of develop some different weird little muscle groups. Oh, smacking the mat with your irons. Yep. Yep. You’re going through all the stages of You’re going through all the stages of turf. Golfing off a turf. Um, excuse me. Off an artificial mat. If you’re dedicated and you stick with it, uh, depending on how good you were when you started. I do okay now in the simulator, but I’m a 20 handicap in real life. After a year and a half, I’m a 20 handicap. Um, I thought I thought the progress would be a little quicker, but I’m a guy who’s used to sort of kind of being good at stuff right out of the gate. And, uh, golf’s not one of those things that you get good at quickly. Maybe if you had a coach working with you every day all day and you were on a specific diet regimen and a specific weight training regimen and all of that, maybe yeah, you could do it. But I only saw my golf coach about once a week. I’m 44 years old. I’m a gray beard. Um not at fighting weight. There’s a lot of factors, but that’s about what you can expect, man. Shooting around 90 after the first year, which is crazy to think after how many golf balls I’ve hit that I’m only shooting shooting between 85 and 90. It’s just it’s such a hard sport. Yeah, Alpine Trader says he injured himself, got better, and reinjured. Uh, I did that stuff, too, man. Welcome to the jungle. Says his brother’s way better than him. We started at the same time. I’m struggling with distance for sure. Okay. Yeah. Some people say it’s strength, some people say it’s flexibility. I think it falls somewhere in between or you wouldn’t see these professional golfers weight training. Uh please draw back over. That should be in a bunker. And then I find that if you’re not hitting off the sweet spot on the face of your club, you can lose you can lose up to a hundred yards off the tea if you’re not if you’re on the wrong part of the club. Golf’s the craziest I ever did, dude. Played football, basketball, baseball. Nothing Nothing is as hard as this is. Nothing is as hard as golf. That was a very, very shitty shot. Um, not not because of me, sort of because of me, but mostly because of GS Pro’s crummy physics. Okay, guys. I wouldn’t say that was a bad round. We had four birdies. Of course, we’re at We’re not even at 6,000 yard TE’s, but let’s look at stats. Longest drive was 300. Best ball speed was 148. I think that’s close to what the round I played a few hours ago, a few hours ago was. Uh, we got nine grains in regulation. 34-minute round. You can’t be mad at that. Let’s exit out here and play round two. Hopefully you can stick around, Alpine Trader. I’m I’m trying to hurry through these rounds, but if you have any questions or anything, let me know. Uh, what changed here? Stimp went up to 12. Uh, that’s it. I can’t see any other changes. I think the wind was calm. I think we were breezy in the first round. Dude, honestly, I’m just plugging away at this watching some of these other guys shooting really good scores in the simulator. There aren’t a lot of them that post oncourse scores, so I don’t know how good a golfers they are in real life. Um, there’s a couple that are really good in the simulator and really good outside. Uh, but I I haven’t seen a lot of footage from both sides. It seems like people are either pretty committed to being a sim golfer or they’re pretty committed to being outdoor golfer. It’s a struggle, dude. Especially once you get past that honeymoon phase, it seems like you’re just putting in repetitions, like hitting bucket after bucket after bucket on the driving range, hoping for something to happen. Kind sucks sometimes. That was thinned. I think we’ll be in the bunker. Maybe we’ll hop out. That wasn’t thin. That was a Huzzle Rocket. That felt slappy. I am playing uh on a piece of software called GS Pro and it is a league. Lot of acronyms and crap here, so bear with me. It’s a league in the simulator golf tour. This particular one is like Michigan’s best golf courses, but there’s lots and lots and lots of leagues and lots of other events you can participate in. Sit down. Um, what software are you currently using? Okay, you’re familiar with GS Pro. That cuts out a lot of the bull crap. Um, it’s the Sim Golf Tour SGT. The logo looks like a a triangle with the letters SGT in it. I think it’s 50 bucks a year, but you can do so many events and stuff in it. It’s pretty sweet. Give it a shot, man. If you hate it, just you could quit after the first year. But I’m not as active as some of the other guys are. If you’re looking for outdoor golf type of stuff, I’ve got, I don’t know, eight, nine, 10, maybe a dozen outdoor golf videos I’ve shot this year. The reason I quit doing that is because the editing time is sometimes twice as long as the round itself took. So, that gets kind of cumbersome. Excuse me. cumbersome. Okay. So, you got what? An MLM wrap sodto. Used it at the driving range. Probably going to have my sim built by the end of January. December. January. Yeah, man. I’m excited for you. Are you going to stick with the Rapodto or are you going to move to a different launch monitor? That’ll probably be in the sand. Sim golf. Just don’t get too hung up in the sim golf part of it, man. Because it’s going to make you think you’re way better than you are at golf. And then you go out on the course after you haven’t been out in a while and you get schooled. It’s actually kind of funny because I was getting okay. I didn’t hit that nearly hard enough. I’m an I was getting okay in the sim and then I went outside and just got demolished cuz I’d been playing in the sim all winter. And then we went out soon as the golf courses started letting people on. and the ground was still frozen and and we went out on the golf course and I thought I was going to go out and shoot a, you know, an 82 outside and I got rick rolled. Dude, there was a little while there where I couldn’t even break a 100. It’s It’s just so It’s such a difficult sport. Uh, that was thin. We’re going to be in the bunker, I’ll bet. I’m surprised the score with as many bunkers as I’ve been in on this uh stuff so far is not worse than it is. That’s short. Garmin R50 in the ProT. Okay. Yeah, that’s right. I’m an I’m pretty sure you already told me that. Okay, mental note, the stimp on the greens changed. And if I don’t start to remember that and I keep putting like this, we’re going to be 20 over par. See, I just did it again. These greens are playing quick. Okay. What’s that? A triple double. Okay. Let’s not do that anymore. Yeah. Uh Alpine Trader says the bunkers are one of the most unrealistic parts of the sim. I 100% agree. The shitty thing is is there’s really no way to get around it because even if you get one of those um those mats that simulates dirt, it’s like a bristles from a push broom. I’m sure you’ve seen it. If you used that, it would feel more realistic as your club was going through, but then you’d be taking the penalty from that mat and the penalty that GS Pro naturally gives you. I wish you could just tell GS Pro you were using that mat, right? People would obviously cheat. Everybody’s cheating, but tell GS Pro you were using that mat and then it so it wouldn’t take the penalty. Is that seriously going to hit the one tree on the course? Um, it wouldn’t take the penalty and it’d feel a lot more realistic. You know, guys, I really hate to do this, but if you didn’t move your ball, if you were on the real course and were behind the street, you’d either have to kick your ball out or do that. 97 yards. The software frustrates me, but the I’m I’m more frustrated with my lack of consistency, I think. Right. So, I quit hitting Hoszle Rockets full-time a long time ago, but I’ve had a couple of round for uh the last few rounds. I think it’s mostly that I’m not paying attention. Why is this camera zoomed? I think it’s mostly that I’m not paying attention. That’s going to be in the bunker, but the consistency kind of sucks. We’re getting our asses hammered here, boys. Um, yeah, it’s it’s really about getting the repetitions You let the fanboys who only play in the sim do their thing. Uh Ted says he’s got a saw I can borrow. I don’t remember the joke. I’m sorry. Pretty short drive there. 298. We got a ways to go. Golfen has a big mat with the bunker and rough. Yeah, that would be cool. The only thing, like I said, is that you would still get the penalty from GS Pro because there’s no way to shut the penalty off. That’s why I’m not using it right now. Man, that thing’s going right. I just see close my club face, but that comes with the inconsistency of being a beginner golfer. This is going to take a huge penalty. I’m going to hit a sixiron out of here. Still barely got there. 112 carry in GS Pro. 162 carry. So we lost 50 yards. All right, this round’s starting to get out of hand here. What are we at? Five. Uh maybe we can sink this putt. Let’s just hit it. It’s only got to go about 10 ft of field. The simulator is a good place to practice your fundamentals, right? Trying to keep your head stationary and your lead arm straight and all of that It’s good for training driver because on the real golf course, you don’t you don’t interact with the turf with your driver, so it’s still pretty realistic. Oh, for the tree. Yeah, I could have used it then. Cut that damn tree down. Oh man, that didn’t go nearly far enough. 65 carry, 88 carry. We lost 20 carry out of there. Roll out. Roll out. Roll out. Par. Par. Yeah, that sucked wasting a stroke on that tree, guys. We have got to stop getting bogeies here for a while. I would like to be under the 10 over threshold by the time the round concludes. And we’ve got a lot of golf still to play. And then I probably better do some chores. I’m a pretty big cynic though, guys. So, I’m probably not the best person to listen to. I don’t think that’s going where we want it to go. Going to be short. It’s part five though. Get in the hole. The humanity. The humanity. All right. So, we went lost, not lost, but gained a stroke. Gained a stroke, lost a stroke, whatever the good version is. So, now we’re playing 0 five bogey golf, as I like to call it. All right, that’s coming over to the right pretty hard. Let’s see if we’re where we are. 139 out of deep rough overwater. I’m not making this mistake again. Let’s take a sim drop. That cost you a stroke, but you then you don’t have to sit and try to get out of the forest over and over and over and use a bunch of strokes. Good ball strike, but pulled it. Let’s hope we can get near the pin. All right. Hey, what’s up? Crushing it. How are you? Oh, that sucks. Shooting ourselves in the foot, guys. We’re going to take a double here because of the sim drop. Nope, just a regular bogey. I’ll take that. Uh 156 overwater. Not too worried about the water unless I have a severe misit. Luckily, those don’t happen too much anymore. All right, pulled it. And I could have probably used an eight iron, it looks like. Let’s see if the magic voke is working today. That ain’t going to cut it. That’d be a good out on the real golf course, but this in the simulator, it’s too easy to get out of bunkers. Was an interesting little no read there. We good now. Bogey bogey. Boie bogie bogey. I think we were down to I think we got down to four under a few holes ago. Excuse me. Four over, but uh that since uh has has gone away. Which fairway are you supposed to play here? This doesn’t make any sense. Can I play this fairway? I don’t know. Looks like a split fairway. It doesn’t look like it’s two different holes. But we’ll see, right? All right, that was a terrible shot. 190 in. Is this a par4? Show is, boy. show is another another one to the right. We might as well just hit over to this other fairway, huh? 43. It’s crazy how many golf balls I’ve hit in the last year and a half. And I still hit shots like the one I just hit. It’s absolutely ununanimously crazy. Then you’ll hit a shot like that. Still got a putt though. That would have been really nice if that just stayed in the circle. Oh, come on. 12 stimps. Brutal. Ah, we picked up another goddamn stroke. Okay, let’s see here. We really got to slow the bleeding down here. 146 with a slight tailwind. We’re going downhill. Uh, real life rounds are starting to be in the mid to high 80s now instead of instead of the mid mid 90s. The problem is is golf outside is almost completely different than it is in here except for driver cuz you don’t interact with the turf. And driver’s a lot easier to hit outside, too. Much easier to hit par. I hope. Man, we just picked up another stroke, huh? How are your rounds outside going? The season here is about over. We might get a few more in. I’ve played so much golf outside this year, though. I’m kind of getting burned out. Kind of getting a little burned out. Yeah, it’s hard to practice golf. Man, what was that? Slimy 225. What a terrible shot. left. That’s a good score. What TE’s do you play from? What? T distance? T distance. Course total course length. We always play from 6,000 yard TE’s or further just because most of us hit pretty far off the tea. And uh we I realize not everybody does this, but we basically play USGA rules. Like I got this guy, he’ll brag about his score on the golf course on Monday, but I know he takes like a breakfast ball here and a breakfast ball there. And just like, dude, so basically what you’re telling me is that every round you play is a practice round. 230. Guys, I don’t know what’s going on with the driver here. We’re starting to see the ball speed drop again. Yeah, 6200’s good. Get up there. Breakfast ball. Breakfast. Breakfast ball here. Breakfast ball there. Here a breakfast ball there. A breakfast ball everywhere. A breakfast ball. That actually wasn’t as bad of a ricochet as it normally is. Did they fix this goddamn awful software? Probably not. Um, we got water up here, guys. I think our miss is typically to the right, though. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If I take a mully on anything, I stop taking score. So, because I know I’ll just like basically be sort of I don’t know if if I’m Yeah, I’m I’m not I’m not in any position to to talk about it, I guess, is what I’m saying. 163 No, no, no, no, no. Go back. Go back. That’s going to be a long putt. Well, it ain’t going to be a putt at all. If I get deep enough into a round to where I’m just kind of like I I know that I it’s it’s not going to happen, I’ll uh I’ll turn my app off and just call it a practice round and stop keeping score. But I make sure that the only things I count toward my handicap are like no mulligan, no breakfast ball rounds, which I think is why I’m a 20 handicap is because I’m kind of a stickler when it comes to keeping score for handicap rounds. I won’t enter those into my USGA app. That was fat. Uh, my thing with mulligans, if you are counting your score, is let’s say you take a moly off a T- box where you hit OB on the first shot. You just saved at least two strokes. If you take a mully on another T- box on the back nine where you hit OB, you just saved another two strokes, which is four strokes, which can be the difference between shooting in the 90s and shooting in the 80s or shooting in the high 80s or shooting in the low 80s. So, it quickly becomes it quickly becomes a slippery slope. I mean, I honestly shouldn’t be keeping score at all cuz my golf game is so it’s all over the place. I think you get to a special point in your game when you’re like, it’s time to keep start keeping score. Like I’m regularly bogeying out of holes. I rarely lose a golf ball anymore. Stuff like that. And that’s when it’s time to start keeping score, you know. That was sweet. But everybody does it a little different. I’m not the one paying for everybody’s round. So, my favorite is where you’ll see a dude take two balls off the tea, putt four times on the green and he’ll be walking off the green and he’s like, “Yeah, another par for me.” I’m just like, “Okay, buddy. You keep telling yourself that. Pretty sure that was a par. That was fat. That’ll be right. Not fat. Towy, stay out from there. Alpine Trader says he doesn’t keep score. He’d probably be happier. Honestly, I stopped keeping score for a whole month this this summer. I was just so fed up. Okay, let’s see what happened there. 32 carry. So, we lost a lot of carry. I must not have been paying attention. Too busy telling people how to keep score and when they should do it, when they shouldn’t when it’s none of my business. Sit down. All right, that was an unnecessary bogey. One must pay attention. We might be able to get out of here under 10 over par. Let’s see what we got here. What’s his big landing area is 185. Let’s hit a five iron. Yeah, heard that plenty of times, too. And it’s like, do I do I want to say anything or just roll with it? If it’s for money, yeah, we’re gonna have a little talk about it when you uh walk off the green saying, “Put me down for a bogey.” But other than that, you kind of just learn to stop trusting those people. That’s it. I have never gotten nearly hit in the face so many times as I have with these uh Maxfly Trifly golf balls. Just the way they ricochet, the way they come off the club, they’re a little dangerous, I’d say. I must have set my um I must have set my hitting area too small when I re-calibrated this this morning. Slow up. Slow up. All right, guys. We are tickling bogey here. Tickling it right in its underc carriage. We got it, though. One more hole. If we can get out of here with a bogey or better, we’re fine. And it’s a stupidly short par five. Let’s play some smart golf. Let’s hit into this clearing and then hit into the next clearing and then get onto the green and play some smart golf here. I don’t want to be more than 10 over. Uh, okay. Well, apparently that ain’t going to work out cuz we’re going to hit Well, we won’t be hitting out of a bunker. We might have a chance still. So, the next spot I want to hit about there. All right. Sort of kind of going according to plan here. Let’s let the Vokei do some work. left 52. We probably want to hit about 45 here. Short. That’s going to be short. All right. So, this is shot number four. Let’s see if we can get up near the pin. End round two here. All right, we did her. We got her. There’s your score. Eight over par. Let’s check the SGT website for some other scores. Uh tours. What did we just play? We didn’t play a tour. We played Michigan’s the Michigan courses. Top 100 Canadian golf. Hmer was crushing it. Michigan. We played this one. Uh, I’m the only person who’s played it, which is unfortunate because now I have nothing to compare it against. Gross score was 12 over par. Total score was 12 over par, excuse me, net. So, we really don’t have really anything to go on here. Uh, first round was certainly better than the other, but it was only four strokes better.
