MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women’s golf team is headed to island time to close out the 2025 fall season, taking part in the White Sands Invitational this week. The tournament, hosted by NIU, runs from October 24 through October 26 at The Ocean Golf Club on Paradise Island in Bahamas.
The Lineup
Caroline Pardue takes the top spot in the lineup for the third time this season. She struggled in the final round of the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate last time out but put up solid scores at one-over par in the opening two. She currently owns a 74.77 stroke average on the season, the third lowest on the team.
Isabella Johnson will start second in the lineup this weekend, having earned her fourth top-25 finish at the Mercedes-Benz. She sandwiched a rare round over par with two 71s in the opening and closing rounds to finish at 215 (+2) for a third-consecutive event. The Murfreesboro native leads the team, averaging 71.62 strokes per round.
Just days after earning Top 30 honors for the 2025 NCAA Woman of the Year award, Abbie Lee is set to take her place as the third in the lineup. She appeared to find her footing in the final round in just her second tournament of the season, turning in a career-low 67 as well as her first collegiate hole-in-one. Her 74.33 scoring average ranks second for Blue Raiders.
Nicole Johnson will make her reappearance in the Middle Tennessee lineup this weekend. Though she hasn’t played since the middle of September, she is prepared to turn in counting rounds for the team and make an impact.
Jillian Bowman rounds out the team lineup for the Blue Raiders. Having not competed in the last event, she’ll look to get back to her low-scoring ways seen in the beginning of the season. Bowman began the season with two rounds below par in four played but has since struggled with big numbers.
Brylee Crouse will compete as an individual in Paradise Island for her fourth tournament of the season. She has contributed three countable rounds in her four played, with her scores continuing to drop as she gains confidence in collegiate golf.
The Field
Middle Tennessee and host Northern Illinois will compete against players from Miami (Fla.), Prairie View A&M, South Florida, Ohio and High Point in the event. Miami, NIU, MTSU, USF and Ohio will field individuals along with their five-player lineup.
The Tournament
The Ocean Club Golf Course, located at Atlantic Paradise Island, will play as a par-72 throughout the tournament, stretching 6,385 yards on Atlantis’ peninsula. The course has hosted the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational, the Michael Douglas & Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament and the Pure-Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. The event features a 54-hole, stroke play format with three rounds of 18 holes daily.
