ALPHARETTA, Ga.- Charlotte Men’s Golf is set to finish their fall schedule at The Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate this weekend (Oct. 24-26). This 54-hole Tournament, hosted by Georgia Tech, will be played on the Lakeside Course of The Golf Club of Georgia. This tournament has been held since 2006 and has featured many well-known amateur-turned-professional golfers and some of the best teams in the NCAA.

The Golf Club of Georgia was established in 1991 with the Lakeside Course designed by Arthur Hills. Then, in 1993, the golf club added the Creekside Course, which Arthur Hills also designed. The Lakeside Course features rolling terrain and undulating greens amidst scenic woodlands. Holes 11-14 have a backdrop of Lake Windward, offering magnificent views. This course has hosted the Georgia Cup, Senior PGA Tour’s Championship, Georgia Amateur Championship, U.S Open Qualifiers, and an NCAA East Regional Championship.

LAST TIME OUT

Charlotte competed in The Bryson Invitational in Charleston, South Carolina last week, finishing tied for eighth out of 15 teams. The Niners shot even par in round one highlighted by Daniel Boone Jr.’s four-under par performance (68). Boone was at six under par on the front nine before having three bogies on the last three holes. In round two, Alex Bock’s three-under performance (69) in his first collegiate tournament led Charlotte. The sophomore carded four birdies with just one bogey on hole 17. Frazer Jones led Charlotte in round three, shooting six under with no bogies. Jones finished the tournament tied for seventh at seven under. Last season, Charlotte finished fourth in the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate at 13 under (851).

Tee Times: Each Day, the players will start on either hole No. 1 or No. 10. The First groups tee off at 9 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. While on Sunday, the first groups tee off at 8:30 a.m. Pairings and tee times are pre-determined for Friday and Saturday rounds, with Sunday’s final round based on 36-hole score.

THE FIELD

The field has five teams that played in the 2025 NCAA National Championship in Florida State, Georgia Tech, Pepperdine, UCLA, and Virginia. Six teams are ranked in the top 25 of the latest release of NCAA College Golf Rankings on ScoreBoard powered by Clippd. 14 of the 15 teams in the field are ranked in the top 100. In the field, there are seven ACC teams, three Big Ten, one Big 12, two from the West Coast Conference, and Charlotte representing the American.
