What’s it like playing a round of golf with the President of the United States?

Several notable sports figures, from Bryson DeChambeau to Tiger Woods to Jon Gruden, have played rounds of golf with President Trump. The 79-year-old President of the United States has played dozens of rounds of golf since he took office for the second time in January. President Trump is as avid a golf fan as there is. He owns several prestigious courses around the country and the world and likes to frequent them as much as possible.

But President Trump recently played a round of golf with someone who is used to it. Kai Trump, the 18-year-old high school senior and granddaughter of President Trump, made it clear that there’s nothing too special about playing a round of golf with her grandfather.

“I just don’t view it as him being the president. I view it as, he’s my grandpa. We’re gonna go out there and play golf,” Kai said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital. “We play golf all the time. It’s nothing new.”

Kai Trump recently played a round of golf with her grandfather at Trump National Golf Club, Washington, D.C. Video of the round was shared to YouTube.

“There were definitely a lot of moving parts, but he was 100% down for it,” Kai said. “He’s great when it comes to that type of stuff. He loved the idea, and it all worked out. For me, I’m playing a match with my grandpa. I had a great time with him, and he made it easy. It was really nice to film with him.”

“Whenever I have time,” she added, “he will always make time to play golf with me. If I call him tomorrow and ask to play golf next Saturday, he will make time for it. That’s one of his really good qualities — he always makes time for his family.”
