The Northern Ohio PGA Toledo Chapter hosted its annual Birdies & Charity event today at Stone Oak Country Club, where 18 PGA Professionals teed it up to raise over $15,000 (and growing) in support of programs that make golf more accessible for juniors and veterans across Northwest Ohio.
Participants represented area facilities including Brandywine Country Club, Findlay Country Club, Highland Meadows Golf Club, The Golf PIT at McDivot’s, Stone Oak Country Club, South Toledo Golf Club, and Toledo Country Club. Each professional collected pledges for every birdie made during the event — turning great play into meaningful impact over the course of 72 holes.
Funds raised through Birdies & Charity directly sustain key initiatives like PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) and Clubs Fore Kids, while also providing support to local organizations including the Toledo Junior Golf Association, Findlay Area Golf Association, and Lima Junior Golf Association.
“Birdies & Charity continues to showcase what makes our Section special,” said David Griffith, Executive Director of the Northern Ohio PGA. “Our Toledo Chapter professionals came together to give back to the game and the communities that support them. Their generosity and commitment truly make a difference.”
