Is this amount of rust a problem? I am especially concerned about the shaft rust, I personally don’t think the head is greatly affected by it. Otherwise the clubs are great they are a 2023 model p770. Your opinion is much appreciated! I’m looking forward to reading your thoughts.

I use steel wool and it came off and now I always dry them if they get wet

And one more thing I wanted to know, I did my research and on other subreddits I’ve read that the shafts usually rust from the inside. Should I be more concerned? Is it worth the risk of buying them? Thanks again to everyone!

    That’s bizarre. Counterfeit maybe?

With the millions of sets of clubs in the world, start with a cleaner set. I’ve never seen rusted shafts, never. How and where these were stored to get that way, and any questions of fakes are warranted.

Move on, unless these are so wildly cheap to reflect the risk.

Used golf clubs are too plentiful to have any questions like you’re having.

My irons are 15 years old, I have never seen rust and I always treat them very badly and they stay in the garage where it is humid. For me those irons if they are under warranty I would take them back.

Not sure of the validity, but I’ve always heard a little rust on the face is almost like a cheat code. Grabs the ball and gives it spin a bit easier. Could be bullshit tho. Most of golf is bullshit 🤣

That’s a hard pass. Why would you even consider them? They must be cheap!

Even if it was surface rust, I wouldn’t want clubs that were treated so poorly unless they were almost free.
