What kind of production do you get when hundreds of the most diehard fans from the most diehard podcast fanbase show up at a golf course to root on their favorite podcast host as he takes on a hated rival in a Match Play event where the booze is free and the stakes are high?

We’ll all find out together on Tuesday.

Less than a week after me and 300 other people watched the spectacle of Kirk Minihane vs. Riggs live at Granite Links, we get the video later today.

I can’t wait.

No spoilers, but it was a very competitive match. Riggs hit a shot on the second hole that might be the best golf shot I’ve ever seen in person. Kirk had this putt from off the green that was pretty significant.

Both guys battled all day. And no surprise, it got chippy between Team Minihane and Team Riggs.

The fans also got involved.

It has to be the first time in the long and storied history of Internet golf that a caddie screamed about Barney the Dinosaur. Frankie was getting it as much as Riggs or Kirk (Many, many “MOONFACE” chirps from the crowd), so I get why he might have fired back.

One female fan, let’s call her Julie, was in Riggs’ face the entire time. She was loud. She was profane. There’s a chance she’s a star in the video. Team Fore Play had their own supporters harassing Podcast Jesus.

And yes, Kirk and Riggs were the real stars of the day, but the Minifans showed up big time. Just look at Rhymo (tall) and Kane (very short).

Was there a fan there in a homemade ‘Mut Slut’ tank top? You’ll have to watch and find out for yourself.

The Minifans were awesome. I spent most of the day walking with them. The ones who were able to make it were treated to a show.

But it was a Wednesday morning in October, and employment is essential, so the reality is that most people have just viewed the clips on social media.

Tuesday, we get the whole video. There were a three-dozen cameras, 11 drones, and 78 Fore Play producers, so I have high expectations –  especially given the great work the Fore Play team has done in the past.

I talked to a source who was part of the video production and asked what he thought about the finished product.

“This could be the single most important golf video of 2025.” 👀👀👀

Be locked into the Fore Play and Kirk Minihane Show X.com feeds for the release.
