ADCOCK & HAIDLE WIN THE 2025 SHOOT-OUT AT PLUM BROOK COUNTRY CLUB
The Northern Ohio PGA wrapped up its tournament season in exciting fashion at Plum Brook Country Club, where Tony Adcock (Foxy Golf Canton) and Ian Haidle (Shady Hollow Country Club) captured the title in the 2025 Shoot-Out, presented by Fleet Response and made possible through the generous support of Scott Mawaka.
The event featured 16 senior PGA professionals and 16 junior PGA professionals paired through a live draw earlier in the day, followed by a morning 1 Best Ball of 2 Qualifier. The top four teams advanced to the afternoon Shoot-Out — a crowd-favorite alternate shot format where one player tees off on the odd holes and the other on the even holes, with one team eliminated on each hole through play and chip-offs.
Adcock and Haidle survived three elimination holes and an extra playoff hole to defeat Brad Ruminski (PGA of America Life Member) and Jim Troy (The Golf Dome) on the 18th hole and claim the 2025 title.
“This event is one of the most anticipated and enjoyable days on our schedule,” said NOPGA Executive Director David Griffith. “It combines competition, camaraderie, and fun — and it simply wouldn’t happen without the continued support of Fleet Response and Scott Mawaka.”
