VERO BEACH, Fla. – North Florida men’s golf finished out the final round of the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational hosted by USF on Monday, Oct. 20, at Quail Valley Golf & River Club.
The Ospreys had good showings on the final day of play from both Danny Erickson and Luke Balaskiewicz, as they both shot under par during their last 18 holes. Filippo Serra ended his extended weekend as the top Osprey at 5-under 211 in 18th overall, while Erickson joined him in the top 25 right behind at 4-under 212.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
Serra birdied the first hole of the final round and gained a team-high 35 pars for his fifth-career finish in the top 25 overall.
Erickson used five birdies in the final round to get to a team-high 14 birdies to also get his fifth-career finish in the top 25 overall.
The Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., native finished the tournament tied for second in par-five scoring average with a stellar mark of 10-under (4.17).
Balaskiewicz gained three birdies over a span of five holes to help him join Erickson under par in the final round.
Laurens Schulze-Doering and Jean-Philippe Parr combined for three birdies to complete the tourney on Monday.
UNF ended the two-day event with 52 birdies, 162 pars and an eagle combined across all five players.
