A popular Hudson Valley brewery will be closed one day this week and the reason is pretty cool.

Newburgh Brewing Company to Close…Temporarily

If you were planning on relaxing and kicking back with an iced cold beer from Newburgh Brewing Company on Wednesday, October 22nd…you may want to reschedule.

The popular brewery took to social media recently to let their customers know that they will be closed for the day on October 22nd.

The reason? A Netflix production crew will be using the taproom for their team.

What Netflix Show is Filming in and Around Newburgh This Week?

According to Newburgh Brewing Company, the crew from the Netflix series Four Seasons needs a place to hang out.

They write:

The fine folks from Netflix’s “The Four Seasons” needed a place to hang out while they are filming in Newburgh (plus who wouldn’t want a MegaBoss after a long day of filming?) so they are posting up in our Taproom all Wednesday long

Thankfully, it wont affect Newburgh Brewing Company’s schedule too much. Trivia night is moving to Thursday at 7 pm (after WRRV’s latest sessions performance).

Newburgh Brewing Company writes “Nothing stops Trivia, not even Tina Fey and Steve Carell.”

Four Seasons Comes Back to the Hudson Valley For Season 2

Last fall the Hudson Valley was buzzing after learning that Tina Fey and Steve Carell would be working on a project in the area.

They filmed all over the region while working on the remake of Alan Alda’s 1980s film The Four Seasons.

If you watch season 1 of the series you’ll see Main Street Beacon, parts of Vassar College and more local landmarks.

The show was a huge success and signed on for a season 2 shortly after the show premiered in May of 2025.

Netflix shared a photo at the end of September of the Four Seasons cast with exciting news: filming of season 2 was underway.

Eagle eyed fans noticed the background and concluded that this had to be the Hudson Valley. Guesses came in of Mount Beacon or Bear Mountain.

While we didn’t get any confirmation of that filming location, at least we know they’re back in the Newburgh area.

Keep your eyes peeled, you never know who you might run into!
