And the drought is over for Se Young Kim. Five years later, a winner again. Se Young Kim is a winner again on the LPGA tour, capturing the BMW Ladies Championship by an impressive four shots. I’m Adam Stanley and this is LPGA Now presented by SurfPro. Let’s get into it. Kim fired a final round 67 at Pine Beach Golf Links and the final result was never a doubt. She birdied four of her final five holes on the front nine and then added two more birdies in a row on numbers 14 and 15 to put this one to bed. That’s wonderful. That is magnificent. That probably is a championship clinching shot right there. It was Kim’s first win on the LPGA Tour since 2020. And in the process, she became the 27th winner this season, breaking the record for the most different winners in a single season in the history of the LPGA Tour. She’s the third wire-to-wire winner of 2025, the second in a row at the BMW Ladies Championship, and is the fourth player to win in their home country this season, joining Jennifer Cupcho and you let me know along with Brooke Henderson of Canada. It was a special week of golf for Sean Kim with a deserving result at the end of it all. NASA Hatoka finished second alone after making birdie on her final three holes in a row on Sunday while Alim Kim and Selene Boutier were tied for third at 18 under. The LPGA tour will stay in South Korea next week for the return of the Hanoa Life Plus International Crown where the United States will head into the thrilling team event as the top ranked squad. You can tune in to the return of the international crown where team Thailand is the defending champions live on Golf Channel starting Thursday at 1000 p.m. Eastern time. And be sure to tune in to LPGA now presented by SurfPro for everything you need to know.
