Social media commenters described Trump’s video as a transparent depiction of his true feelings toward the American people
After President Donald Trump’s communications team shared an AI-generated video on Friday showing the president wearing a crown while piloting a military jet over American cities and dropping feces onto “No Kings” protesters, an old opponent seized at her chance to poke fun at the president.
Reacting to the post, former Secretary of State and Trump’s opponent in 2016, Hilary Clinton, joked, “He’s definitely not mad that 7 million Americans came out to protest him yesterday….” pointing out a headline about the video.
The video was shared in reaction to the more than 2,600 demonstrations across the country and abroad on Saturday, which drew millions of people united by their opposition to the Trump administration for its increasingly authoritarian rule of the United States.

Some social media users characterized Trump’s video as a transparent representation of his genuine feelings toward the American people, especially those who stand against him, on a day of widespread rejection of his policies.
Trump and his social media team, including White House Communications Director Stephen Cheung, regularly utilize AI in pictures and videos on the president’s page.
He has been portrayed as a superhero, an ultra-muscular soldier and even the Pope.
In February, he shared an AI-generated video that portrayed the Gaza Strip as a tropical, Dubai-style paradise with a topless Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump sipping cocktails on sun loungers.
AI videos have been a solid part of Trump’s media campaign
“Donald Trump literally posts an AI video of himself defecating on Americans, and Republicans will say, ‘That’s just Trump being Trump.’ And the media will just shrug,” one X user wrote in response to a repost of Trump’s AI video. “It tells you everything you need to know about what he thinks about the people of America who are, in fact, America,” another person commented.
“America is not just the land, it is the people, and Trump just loves to s— on us.
“Him taking a dump on the country is the most honest thing he’s ever posted,” a third individual chimed in. Saturday marked the third day of mass mobilization since Trump resumed office in January, amidst an ongoing government shutdown.
While large-scale protests took place in Democratic-led cities like San Francisco, Chicago, and Portland – areas that Trump has singled out for military intervention despite opposition from city and state leaders – thousands of Americans also assembled in smaller towns and red states. Over 1,500 protestors convened in Birmingham, Alabama, a city with a significant history in the Civil Rights Movement.
“It just feels like we’re living in an America that I don’t recognize,” Jessica Yother, a mother of four, shared with The Associated Press. She and other protesters expressed a sense of unity by gathering in a state where Trump secured nearly 65% of the vote last November.
“It was so encouraging,” Yother said. “I walked in and thought, ‘Here are my people.'”
Earlier this year, protests against Elon Musk’s cuts and Trump’s military parade drew crowds. However, organizers say this protest has brought the opposition together.
High-profile Democrats like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Independent Senator Bernie Sanders are joining what organizers see as a counter to Trump’s actions, from his administration’s crackdown on free speech to its military-style immigration raids.
