PALO ALTO, Calif.- Iowa State finished off their second round alone in ninth after shooting even par as a team. Three strokes better than their previous round, but the rest of the field had great rounds, with seven teams shooting under par. Pammy Chookaew did what she has done this year, shooting two-under in her second round, moving her up to tied for fourth. Chookaew had five birdies in her second round.
Nichakorn Pinprayoon sits in the Cyclones’ second spot after shooting an even round, putting her in a tie for 39th. Pinprayoon had the Cyclones’ first eagle of the year as well as four birdies in her second round. Alexandra Vidal shot two over in her second round, putting her in a tie for 45th and a total score of three over.
Isabella Yan had a great recovery round, shooting even par and moving her up to a tie for 50th. Yan grabbed four birdies in her second round. Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn sits in a tie for 50th with Yan after shooting two-over in her second round. Chul-Ak-Sorn snagged three birdies in her round.
Stanford stays atop the leaderboard after shooting 12-under, putting their total at 25-under. Pammy Chookaew finds herself three strokes behind the individual leader with one round to play.
