President Donald Trump spent his weekend golfing at his West Palm Beach golf club Saturday morning amid the government shutdown.

His motorcade left Mar-a-Lago a little after 9 a.m., The Washington Post reported. The motorcade arrived at a nearby golf course at 9:15 a.m., but the president was not visible to reporters.

This is in line with his team obscuring Trump sightings during his golf weekends.

This comes amid the 18th day of government shutdown after senators failed to do away with the impasse for the tenth time on Thursday.

This is the third-longest funding lapse in history.

Around 2,700 No Kings protests are expected to sweep across the nation on Saturday, making it the largest peaceful protest in American history, including New York City, Washington D.C. and Chicago.

These follow the No Kings protests last summer to protest against Trump, which was attended by 6 million people and is the third mass mobilization since Trump’s return to the White House for the second time.

Hundreds of thousands gathered in New York and D.C. between 11 a.m. to noon. Protests are scheduled to start in Chicago around 1 p.m., organizers said.

Protestors have also started waving American flags and banners denouncing the Trump administration in other states, including Florida, Michigan and Virginia.

The protests come amid a government shutdown and immigration enforcement across major cities as organizers sound an alarm over a possible slide toward authoritarianism in the United States.

Trump allies denounced the protests.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, a close Trump ally, has called the No Kings protests a “hate America rally” while Sen. Roger Marshall has accused billionaire George Soros of paying for the protest.

“I encourage you to watch — we call it the Hate America rally — that will happen Saturday,” said House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.

“Let’s see who shows up for that,” Johnson said, listing groups including “antifa types,” people who “hate capitalism” and “Marxists in full display.”
