These clubs are on sale OTD cost $913 with a discount code added. I’ve been thinking of grabbing them for a while now. They look so clean and simple. I’m a 13 handicap and feel like my iron striking is very consistent but my driver isn’t so this could be a step up. I currently run the mizunos 923 hot metals. What are your thoughts on these clubs?

Great clubs. Buddy swears by them.

He’s played a ton of iron sets. These and mizuno he swears by.

  2. Spiritual-Tadpole342

Beautiful clubs for sure. I’ve never hit them.

  3. tuckermans

They look great and hit a nice price point. Anywhere close by you can’t try them? Perhaps find a single iron on eBay and give it a shot before diving in.

High quality. Wilson irons have more major wins than any other company.

I bought mine off ebay to work on my swing… and I never went back to my cavity backs. I will game this until I die

Wilson is SO underrated. Outstanding clubs! They were the Mizuno of my youth.

They’re beauties , but will not have as much forgiveness as the clubs you’re currently gaming . But that’s never stopped me from buying a club before 🙃🤣👍

Some of the best looking and best feeling clubs I have ever hit. I would love to have a set.

  9. Jfragz40

    They fuck

Also the hottest looking clubs in the game

  10. ChipotleAddiction

One of my dream sets. Wilson irons are insanely underrated just because a lot of Tour players don’t use them

Just buy Takomo great quality and way cheaper

    I have them and I am a 10 HDCP

My scoring has vastly improved, getting way more birds based on the irons dispersion and stopping power.

I’m about a half club shorter than my cavity backs.

Love the nod to the haig ultras👍

  14. If you’re a decent ball striker, you’ll be fine, long as the shaft works for you too.

Played these as rentals while I was on a business trip as I wasn’t expecting to play but the client and I got to talking and decided to sneak in a round and talk business on the course. Honestly they were fantastic, was pleasantly surprised how nice they felt. I game PXG Gen 6 irons and love them but these Wilson’s are a great club

  16. GolfIsGood66

They are among the best and most beautiful imo

$1000 is a lot for an iron set that isn’t going to be useful for you. Of all the things to drop that much money on for the lulz, this isn’t going to give you a lot of bang for your buck.

Here’s an alternative suggestion. Every Goodwill has a set of blades from the 80s for $3/club. Throw a $30 Champkey grip set on them, and they’ll play and feel exactly like these Wilsons (pure out of the center, loses 30 yards if slightly off the toe). Treat yourself to a really nice hooker with the $950 you have left.

I was just looking at these online yesterday! I think they look awesome but haven’t hit them

Wanna sell the hot metals? 👀

That could lessen the blow on these lol

  20. thaat0n3guy

I play the cb’s which are often paired with these, they feel very nice and play great.

  21. OptionalQuality789

If they are anything like my Wilson driver and 3w I’d say buy them. I fricking love my Wilson stuff.

  22. MightyThorgasm

Wilson is the ultimate spectrum brand. You can get the cheapest set from Walmart or you can have 62 major championship victories. Their great is incredible while their bad is terrible. I’d say these fall on the higher end of the spectrum

  23. Galbzilla

Just curious, what would these get you that the hot metals aren’t giving you?

  24. _goofballer

Excellent clubs but you’ll lose a bit of distance and height compared to the springier hot metals

  25. jaygord34

Wilson staff blades and CB are one of the best feeling irons out there and I’ve had almost every brand

  26. likethevegetable

You should hit them and let that influence your decision

  27. Nickn753

I have the V6 and D7 sets and they’re amazing. Absolutely love them.

  28. golfing_furry

I play the 23 version and love them. The shape of the sole just suits my swing and they feel fantastic for it

  29. 00sucker00

These clubs are an entirely different animal compared to Hot Metal, but as long as you are a consistent ball striker, these will be an upgrade. Your consistency in distance control should increase substantially. I’d pick these over Mizu HM’s any day.
