When he came back, hair was naughty. He ain’t shaved. He had a cut under his eye. I never forget this first play of scrimmage. We start, we warm up, we get to scrimmage. I I don’t know if you remember, he reject. And he took two steps. When I say he punched on Perk so [ __ ] hard, excuse me, there women in the room. Excuse me, man. He dunked on Perk so [ __ ] hard that we had to stop practice. And you know what he said to me after that? You know what he said to me after the dunk? I ain’t going back. I ain’t never going back. I ain’t never going back. And watching him and Rondo play each other every day was like, if you’re a basketball savant and you love guard play, they were just making each other better.
