I have got a great putting tip or something I want you to try to do when you’re hitting a putt that is going to make your ball roll significantly better than it does currently, which is going to help it hold its line better and you’re going to make more putts. And here it is. I want you to try and hit the ball on the top half of your putter face. Do not hit the ball on the bottom of the putter face. hit the ball with the top half of the putter face. Now, how are we going to do that? Well, let me show you. So, one of the biggest mistakes that I see with golfers in their putting is that when they approach the ball with the putter, the handle of the putter stops, the putter head keeps going and they catch the putter, they catch the ball with the shaft of the putter leaning backwards. That’s going to make you hit the bottom of the putter face. That makes that golf ball skid more. It makes that ball hop a little bit and that ball can get offline. So, my concept of trying to hit the top of the putter face, if you were to do that, you would have to come into the ball with the shaft of the putter leaned a little bit forward. Now, I don’t want you to exaggerate this because if you exaggerate it too much, you’re going to drive that ball into the ground and it will jump on you. But I want you to feel like the handle of the putter leads the putter head. And then when you get to impact, that le that shaft is leaning a little bit forward. When you do that, your ball is going to skid. It always skids. It’s never going to not skid, but it will start rolling sooner and it will roll truer. And when it rolls truer, that ball’s going to hold its line better and you’re going to make more putts. So again, when we hit this putt, I want you to feel like the shaft of the putter leans forward a little bit as you strike the ball. Now, one way to practice that, you could get yourself in front of a mirror and just watch yourself make putting strokes and visualize and see that putter shaft being leaned forward. That would be a great way for you to get feel for what this feels like. And just when you’re out on the golf course or you go to the practice green, just start off with some small putts and hold that follow through. Make sure that that lead wrist is stayed fl fairly flat and you haven’t let let it bend very much. Okay, folks. If you’ll follow this tip right here, you’re going to make more putts. And that means you’re going to shoot lower scores. And that’s what I’m here for. I’m here to help you shoot lower scores.
