Caitlin Clark is returning to the golf course.
Tournament officials announced Thursday that the Fever star will participate in The ANNIKA Pro-Am for the second straight season, joining LPGA players Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam at Pelican Golf Couse in Tampa, Florida, on Nov. 12.
The event, which is the penultimate LGPA competition of the season and open to the public, is hosted by Sorenstam and sponsored by Gainbridge. One of Clark’s many sponsorships includes being a Gainbridge ambassador, which is also the namesake of the Fever’s arena.
“I had an amazing time at The ANNIKA last November and participating in the Pro-Am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game,” Clark said. “I’m honored to be an ambassador for a company in Gainbridge that is so committed to elevating women’s sports. I can’t wait to return to Tampa in November to play in the Pro-Am with the best women golfers in the world.”
The Fever star has long been an avid golfer, playing the low-contact sport around Indianapolis and the country in the WNBA offseason. She also participated in the pro-am alongside Korda and Sorenstam in November 2024.
“It was an honor to play in the pro-am with Caitlin last year. The crowds were amazing, and we are excited for her return to The ANNIKA in November,” Sorenstam said. “She added such a great dynamic to our event, and her passion for golf and competitiveness were fun to witness firsthand. I look forward to having her back and continuing to introduce the great game of golf to the next generation.”
This will be the first time Clark plays a sport publicly since July 15, when she suffered a groin injury that, along with a left ankle sprain Aug. 7, ended her season.
Clark had a bad injury bug, with various injuries limiting the 2024 Rookie of the Year to just 13 games in her second season. She averaged 16.5 points, 5 rebounds and 8.8 assists in 2025.
While Clark isn’t planning on playing in any offseason leagues like 5-on-5 Athletes Unlimited or 3-on-3 Unrivaled, she is dedicating her offseason to getting back to full strength. She will still get an ample amount of practice preseason, too, as she’s hoping to join USA Basketball for a World Cup qualifying tournament in Puerto Rico in March.
