VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.  – North Florida Women’s Golf continued its competition at the Evie Odom Invitational, featuring a solid outing from redshirt junior Kaitlyn Schroeder in the second round at Princess Anne Country Club on Friday.

Schroeder stands within the top-five leaderboard for North Florida after the second round. The Ospreys had their top three players – Schroeder, junior Mohea Mansbendel and junior Brianna Castaldi – combine for seven birdies with all three finishing within the top-26 overall.

ROUND REFLECTIONS


North Florida ranks top-three in the field in average Par 5 scores with 5.15.



Schroeder leads the Ospreys and ranks fourth in the field with 27 pars.



Schroeder notched one birdie on the front nine and one on the back.



Castaldi ranks fourth in the field in birdies with five.



Castaldi started the day with two birdies on the front nine and also tallied and a birdie on the back nine.



The Ospreys stand in sixth overall in the 12-team field heading into Friday.
