The fastest round in PGA TOUR history 😳

8:30 Eastern. That was off of one. This was at the six. He’s waving at it. [Music] Played well as he played quickly. Billy, you’ve been in this situation before. I did this at Bay Hill and I actually I thought I was pretty quick. I think, you know, played in 2 hours and 51 minutes, but I didn’t run. didn’t run and we didn’t toss clubs and we didn’t do anything like that. That was the best exchange right there. Divot for clubs. Divot for clubs. Two clubs in the air at the same time. He’s got the flag. There’s the putter laying on the green behind him. Catty’s already gone. He doesn’t even have He’s not even going to take the time to go get the putter off the ground. He’s going to use the wedge. And as you said, it wasn’t reckless. This was a birdie putt at 12. He went back to back at 12 and 13. And when you look at what he did on the final few holes after going one over par makes three birdies and uh this on 18 this for Eagle. Now it’s going to go out of frame simply because no one knew a player was going to be there at this time of day. There would have been no reason to staff this c. Watch. Now watch watch the caddy. Watch the caddy over to the right. Yeah. Watch this. Watch this. [Applause] video from a cell phone. Anything else that happens

Wesley Bryan finished 18 holes in 89 minutes, averaging just about 1 minute per stroke. He shot 2-under 69 in the final round of the BMW Championship in 2017. (via @PGATOUR)

  1. About 90% of amateur golfers could learn something from this.I can't tell you how many times I see a golfer taking fifteen minutes to hit a shot that goes thirty feet

  2. Did he say at the end his caddy said something about you got a plane to catch?. Was that the reason for the speed?

  3. To raise money for charity each year local club. 7 players complete 100 holes on a 72par 6500m. They do 5 full rounds and 10 x hole 10 which is the closest hole to the club house. 5am-6pm 13hrs

  4. When you’re getting paid for it: sickest move ever. When you’re paying to golf: waste of money.

  5. Saw this on espn and thought wth? Then they explained it was in order to catch a flight. Other times I’ve seen college players run and race to finish a round before dark so they wouldn’t have to wake up early to finish the round the next morning.
