The Edgerton Crimson Tide finished a nearly perfect season with a state runner-up finish, adding on to conference, regional and sectional titles

And state champions were crowned today in girls golf. Payton Hogan of Brookfield East was the individual medalist in division 1, crushing the competition with a championship record 12 under par. Divine Savior Holy Angels of Milwaukee and Spooner were the team champions. Plus, Edertton, a program with two freshmen in its scoring four, grabbed runner-up honors. I think after all of our hard work and everything, I think it’s just really the ice cream on top. To be honest, I think it’s a great way to end my last run. It’s a bittersweet moment, so I love spending it with this team as well. All right, checking out the top five in each division. Brookfield East earned runner-up honors, while DeForest and Middleton were third and fourth in D1. Arrowhead rounded out the top five. And over in D2, we’ve mentioned the top two, but congrats to Elk KFax Elkmound in third and Seymour in fourth. Wisconsin Dells also snuck into the top five, shooting 762.
