If you’ve ever seen Matt Fitzpatrick do this crazy move on the range, here’s why. Fizzy’s tendency is he tends to get a little bit too lateral in his swing. So, by applying a little bit more toe heel force, his lead foot pushing towards the ball frictionally kind of allows him to clear. And so, in practice, he’s magnifying that. And that’s where you see the foot sort of kick around. But you see that it’s almost almost looks like drop foot when somebody does it. Like you see lots of of the longer hitters doing it cuz they’re just pushing and that’s helping create that rotation at the end of the swing.
