The Korea Golf Course Management Association signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Green It, a domestic golf course ERP solution company, to innovate the industrial structure of the K golf industry and convert the golf course digital.

The Golf Course Management Association and Green It signed an MOU at the Korea Golf Center located in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do on the 13th. The association said, “This agreement was designed to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction at the same time by shifting the operating system of domestic golf courses from analog to digital.” According to the main contents of the agreement, the two organizations will promote joint cooperation for the establishment of a digital operating system for the K golf industry, joint research on the production of a “golf white book” by the Korea Golf Course Management Association, sharing information by type of golf user, and continuous cooperation for mutual development.

Green It analyzes data by type of golf users using the ERP system and supports the K Golf industry’s digital operation model promoted by the association. Through this, the association plans to help member companies’ golf courses become more efficient and strengthen digital competitiveness across the industry. The association said, “Through this memorandum of understanding, the two organizations will diagnose the present of the golf industry and explore future strategies together by promoting data-based operational innovation.”

“This agreement laid the foundation for member golf courses to accelerate digital transformation,” said Choi Dong-ho, chairman of the Korea Golf Club Management Association. “The combination of Green It’s technology and the association’s industrial network will further strengthen the K golf industry’s future competitiveness.” Park Joon-tae, CEO of Green It, also said, “We will lead the innovation of golf course operation by spreading digital solutions based on the association’s expertise and industry reliability.”
