SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – The No. 3 Washington University in St. Louis golf team finished third at the Hollins Cup with a 631 (313, 318). The tournament, hosted by UC Santa Cruz, is at Pasatiempo Golf Course which is a par 72 course that spans 5,592 yards.
 
Junior Amy Beanblossom led the Bears, finishing in a three-way tie for third place with a 152 (77, 75).
 
First-year Saxon Skinner finished 11th with a 155 (78, 77) while first-year Jessy Young finished tied for 18th with a 162 (78, 84).
 
Sophomore Nicole McGuire finished tied for 22nd with a 164 (82, 82) and senior Athena Nguyen finished tied for 29th with a 166 (80, 86).
 
The Bears wrap up the fall slate next Monday/Tuesday, Oct. 20-21 at the Historic Triangle Invitational, hosted by Christopher Newport at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
