The Patriots last took to the course on September 28-30 at the Shootout at Riviera Maya, where they took home a T-2 finish, their third straight top 10 to start the year. Preston DeSerrano and Preston Chabaud would finish fourth and sixth overall, securing top 10 finishes.
STAYING NOTICED
The Patriots remain in the receiving votes category of the Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll that dropped on October 10th. The Patriots are joined by #13 St. Mary’s, #16 Oklahoma Christian, #23 West Texas A&M, #25 Midwestern State and (RV) UT Permian Basin in teams from the Lone Star Conference in this week’s edition.
THE RYAN PALMER FOUNDATION INVITE
This week will see the Patriots head west to Amarillo, Texas to take on the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite, hosted by West Texas A&M at Amarillo Country Club.
15 teams will suit up, including #13 St. Mary’s, #16 Oklahoma Christian, #18 Colorado Mesa, #23 West Texas A&M, #25 Midwestern State, and (RV) UT Permian Basin.
This week will see 54 holes played over two days beginning on October 14th and finishing on October 15th. Of the 15 teams playing, 10 are in the Lone Star Conference and 11 belong to the South Central Region, providing another key look at the LSC and region.
Preston DeSerrano, Preston Chabaud, Corbin Murray, Connor Carver, and Luke Emerson will lead the five man team, while Jacob Holloway will represent the program as an individual.
