Why does Griffin always wear glasses? No one realizes that the glasses are actually his true form. As the invisible man, Griffin’s entire body is transparent, so no one can see him. This should be an advantage, but he chooses to wear a pair of very noticeable glasses. In reality, his true form isn’t his invisible body, but the glasses. Did you notice his glasses change shape based on Griffin’s emotions? When he gets angry, the glasses bend into exaggerated angles. When he’s sad, the lenses sink into a crying shape, and to show fear, the glasses fold on their own. Anyone who’s worn glasses knows that ours don’t do that. Griffin’s glasses are so strange. Maybe because they’re not just ordinary objects, they’re alive. The glasses have become Griffin’s signature. Since his whole body is invisible, the only thing people can see is the glasses. So, the glasses are the only way to recognize him. Once he takes them off, no one can see him. Not even the strongest Dracula can do anything. Also, when Griffin reveals his true form, the first parts to become visible aren’t the biggest areas, but the features around the glasses. This isn’t just a random detail. It hints that these areas are the closest to his true form. What do you think?
