Where are you on Bonds? You said you weren’t gonna ask me any tough questions. He’s the best player I’ve ever seen dawn a baseball uniform. There’s not even a close second. He plays for the Galactic Allstars and we’re down here on Earth somewhere. He would stand up there and get one strike at night and he would annihilate it. I never forget one of one of the biggest temper tantrums I ever saw Bobby give. We were in San Francisco. So I was playing left. Bobby was like, “Base is empty. Base open. Walking.” So we got a tie game. We’re in extra innings. We’ve walked Bonds three times, I think. And he hit a rocket somewhere. And they bring in Ray King, lefty. And first pitch hangs him a slider and he hits it in the freaking the ocean. The next night we have a guy on first. So, I guess he’s trying to pitch to him. It’s the bottom of the ninth and Trey Hodgees hangs him a slider. Walks him off again. Two nights in a row. Walks us off. Bobby slams the doors open. You guys not listen to the to scouting report? We don’t pitch to this guy. He literally swung the bat maybe four times in the series. I think he was four for four with like nine walks.

    Well Steroids will definitely make hitting home runs alot easier. With that said he would e been a HOF'er before ever using them

    Lets not forget his steroid use didnt just inflate his numbers but he cheated pitchers by deflating their stats and opposing teams win/loss stats.
    He hit some massive shots but i recall a large percentage of his homers barely cleared the wall.
    If he was clean those would have been fly outs.

    This is what makes the fact he cheated so much more tragic, puzzling, disturbing – he would have gone down as a Top Ten player ever, probably Top Five

    Most people who played with or against Barry pretty much say he was the best. Witnessing Barry on the field you have to respect his opponents words about him. To me Barry is the best hitter and most complete player ever

    The thing is bonds went up against a all star softball pitcher and had a little fun with her at the plate and ge admitted that she can strike him out. Also chipper was my favorite player in my teens

    Hell yeah, the correct opinion. Another legend, too. The asterisk can be there for Bonds, but a lot of people forget that the name still comes first.

    The really sad thing is Bonds had a HoF career pre 1998. If he just kept natural, 1st ballot HoF'er easy.

    He's not exaggerating at all. Infields and outfields shift so much because nobody pulled the ball like Bonds. The ball was never going to 3rd base or that side of the field ever.

    All the non athletic fans. Bonds cheated, he did this, he did that. Former players who faced him…..he is the best player we have ever seen.
