CHARLESTON, S.C.- Following a two-week layoff, Charlotte’s Men’s Golf will return to action for the Bryson Invitational at the Daniel Island Club. Hosted by the College of Charleston, the tournament is named for the Matt Bryson Foundation.
The Daniel Island Club hosts two renowned golf courses: the Beresford Creek Course and the Ralston Creek Course. This tournament will be taking place at the Ralston Creek Course. Designed by Rees Jones, this 72-par, 7,446-yard course is set against a stunning backdrop of natural saltwater marsh and tidal creek vistas. The architect of the course describes the layout as having all the elements of a stern test of golf. These include sculpted fairway bunkers, contoured greens, and greenside bunkers that surround the hole. Ralston Creek Course should play well for those who strike the ball well and long hitters. This course was the co-host of the 75th annual U.S. Junior Amateur Championship
