all rise for our new king of Scottish golf and that king of course is Bob McIntyre who just won the Dunh Hill links to secure his sixth overall tour win which just so happens to be on home soil at the home of golf in St. Andrews. He shot his third consecutive six under par for 18 under total in the weather affected 54 hole format. And that win was despite this rather comical moment where he comes out of bunker sideways which featured a lot of apologies and commentary for some rather choice language. So all this on the back of a very decent season where he finished second to JJ Spawn in the US Open at Oakmont. That plus finishing tied 17th in the FedEx PJ tour list as well as nearly winning one of the playoff events and a tied seventh open championship finish. And not to mention the fact he’s now won not one but two rider cups with a very decent points record in doing so. So overall the future looks pretty bright for Bob. He’s already ninth all predicted to rise and also locked up two PGA Tour wins. And one of those wins is his national open the Scottish Open which he secured a couple of years back. So how high is that man’s ceiling? Who knows? For me personally I think he’s got the game and now the mentality to go right to the very top. The man is a player. But be sure to let me know what you think about that in the comments.
