BIRMINGHAM – After three weeks off since its last tournament, the UAB women’s golf team returns to action this Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 13-14 at the Lady Red Wolves Classic hosted by Arkansas State at Sage Meadows Golf Course.
The Blazers are one of 17 teams in the field which also incudes Mississippi College, Murray State, Southern Illinois, Troy, West Georgia, North Alabama, Arkansas State, Little Rock, Missouri State, Utah Tech, ULM, Samford, Morehead State, Illinois State, Memphis and Austin Peay.
UAB will field a team that consists of Lauren Paige Slatton, Chloe Ruble, Annika Gomeyac, Anna Krieger and Maria Antonia Escobar, while Gabby Hultstrand will compete as an individual.
True freshman Lauren Paige Slatton has been stellar in her first two collegiate tournaments, notching two-consecutive top 20 finishes. She is coming off a 13th place finish at the Johnie Imes Invitational.
The field will play 36 holes on Monday, followed by the final 18 holes on Sunday. Live results can be found by clicking here.
