NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men’s golf team is back in action this Monday and Tuesday at The Scrappy at Cobblestone in Acworth, Georgia.

WHAT’S BRUIN


In their last event, the Bruins finished in fifth place at the SIUE Dolenc Invitational.    It was their second straight top-five finish as a team.
Freshman Jack Doyle posted his first top-10 finish as a Bruin at the Dolenc Invitational.  For the season, he ranks third on the team in scoring with a 70.9 average.
Senior Conner Brown is pacing the Bruins in scoring with a 69.2 mark.  He has four of the seven lowest 18 hole scores this fall, including a 64 at the Yestingsmeier Invitational.
Junior Chris Harpum ranks second on the team in scoring with a 70.0 average. 

The Scrappy at Cobblestone, hosted by Kennesaw State, is a two-day, 54-hole event, with 36 holes contested Monday and 18 on Tuesday.  It will be held at Cobblestone Golf Club in Acworth, Georgia, which will play to par 71 and a length of 6,759 yards.

The field features 11 teams and includes the likes of host Kennesaw State, Bellarmine, Georgia State, Tennessee Tech, UT-Martin, and two other MVC squads: Bradley and Murray State.
