I’m going to be bold and say if we make this putt right here, we’re breaking 90. [Music] Break right, please. Sam got me feeling nicy. Folks, welcome back to the channel. I’ve got a special one for you today. I’m going to play 18 holes of golf with only my putter. My secondary goal is to not lose this golf ball. We’re starting on the back n here at Dobson Ranch. Let’s go for it. First hole of the day out here at Dobson Ranch. We’re playing the back nine. So, I’ve got a par4. It’s pretty short. This could be one that we get a par on. For those wondering, I am not playing with my real putter. I actually have a bag full of about four different ones in case this one breaks. I kind of pulled it left, but I hit it really hard. We might just be in line with that driving range. We’re going to have to find it. Hit it back in play. Shout out to my best friend, the Dobson Ranch net. We’re here 67 yards away. I think these are the shots where you’ve got to make it count if you’re gonna try to actually get a par and not a bogey. 67 67. That’s good. That’s so good. Keep digging. Okay, we can make a par from that. Absolutely can make a par. Just a long putt. Sam, be good. Oh, I could have gone a little bit harder there, but we have a look at par. Come on. Every par we make is just a little bit of extra cushion for that inevitable disaster swing when all of a sudden we’re fighting for a double. If you’re going to break 90 with a putter, you better be putting good. Sit. Ah, we need to make about 17 of those and then get a par. Hole number two on the card is another shortish par4. 350. Um, pretty simple, pretty straight away, but it is a bit of a nervy T-OT because we have a lake running right across. So, I’ve got to get this thing elevated. That’s so good. If I can do that all day, guys, we really have a chance. 135 yds to the pin. But we are in some absolute cabbage. I got to hit the fairway and really make use of the roll out here. 135. No idea how this is going to come out. That was the sicey one. That was all the rough though. Oh gosh. Okay, now becomes a fight for bogey. 72 yards left. I’ll be the first to admit this is a bit of a shakier start than I was hoping. Come on, be good. Be good. Sit. Sit. We’re dancing. It’s still moving left. This is an absolutely gorgeous approach shot. And if we could hit fairways, I think we can do stuff like this from the middle. We just have to keep ourselves out of that real dangerous rough sand, the whole thing. Break right kind of cheesy there for me. Oh, a bug on my ball kind of got in my head there. That’s another quality bogey, especially being out of the rough. You know, I feel like those are holes that we really should take pars from, but a bogey doesn’t kill me. I’m still alive. This is our first sweater of a hole of the day. We’ve got about 175 yd par three. We’ve got bunkers all around the green. We’ve got a canal that runs in front and we’ve got about a like 20 yard gap of grass. I’m almost tempted to lay it up short of that so that I make sure I don’t go in the creek here. A bogey would just be a phenomenal score on this hole, I think. Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit down. Okay, good thing we didn’t hit that any harder because it is just in front of that creek headed right for it. Thanks to the rough, we held up. Go, go, please. Oh, I don’t even know if it’s on the Oh, it’s on the dance floor. We’re kind of looking for a tap in bogey. Maybe I make one. Get lucky here. It’s got to go, I think. All right. Well, I haven’t gotten any putts to the hole yet, except maybe on one. I would hope that you guys would uh give me this one in a round together, but we’ll play it all out. You know what I mean? Oh, snuck it in the side door. We are still I guess we’re three over. On to our first par five of the day. I’d love to say this is one that we could maybe try to birdie, but honestly, it just feels like it’s so far away. The whole thing is going around the corner. I’m going to just try to smack one down the center. And if I pull it, we might get lucky and cut some off. That is going the wrong way. We might have 600 yds left. That’s okay. This is rough. We have got to hit an absolute hero shot. It’s got to somehow stay low, get past these trees and roll it. It’s through. It’s through. But it took so much off it hitting that tree limb. Dang. I thought this was going to be hole where I might be able to get a par. 61 yards. If you told me 61 for an up and down for par after that T-shot, I would gladly take it. It’s all fairway though, so we do have to be a bit more careful than I have been with the past approach shots. Go, go. Oh, okay. I’ve got to I’ve got to not be so worried about going long. You know that scene in The Lion King where Mufasa is like falling off the cliff and his claws are slowly slipping. I kind of feel like that’s me right now. Oh, I’ve got a knee knocker for Bogey. Again, a friendly round with you guys. You’d give me this one, right? Got it. Oh, I was hoping to do better with a par five, but it feels so good after how that shaped out. If you guys are watching me for the first time or you’re a returning viewer and this is just you watching long form now, thank you guys so much. I’ve really been trying to work on these long form videos a lot and I’m really enjoying it. So, I hope you guys are too. We’ve got another 170 yard par three. This one much less dangerous, but uh still not easy. Okay, that’s okay. If it doesn’t get in that bunker, we’re big chilling. And if it gets in that bunker, we’re hosed. Uh-oh. We might have rolled through the bunker. This This is our first real problem. You do not want to be long on this hole. I am long and left about 40 yards long. So, I guess I hit like a 210 yard shot a little bit downwind cutting. I think we’re just going to try to get this to the top of the hill. Be good. Sit. I think we executed the game plan very well there, actually. Yeah, that’s really, really nice. That’s got to slow itself down so hard. Slow, slow, slow, slow, slow, slow, slow. Oh boy. Oh boy. That is crazy that that green does that, bro. Please. Oh, that’s my first double bogey of the day. So, if you want to count bogey golf as even par, uh we are one off the pace. That means we need two pars to break 90. All right, we’ve got a par4 dog leg left. Maybe I’m crazy, but I feel like a little bit of relief. I broke the seal. Mufasa fell off the cliff. I can finally breathe a little and go. Okay, we’re in it. We’re one over par now. Let’s go climb our way back out. Pull draw. Always the opposite of what I need. That That really really hurt us. That’s not getting through that bunker. Oh, this is so hard. We’ve got 50 left to the pin here. I feel like the basic requirement for success in this challenge is like 200 yards with my T-ball. That’s my one chance to get the thing up in the air. Avoid rough, avoid disaster. So to end up uh rolling my T-ball only about 60, you’re just you’re just fighting the rest of the way here. That sucks. Oh, it’s so bad. I’m going to blame it on the heat and being a little rattled, but I don’t know what I was thinking that I had 50 from back there. I just shot this at 83. Get up. We’re up. I think we’re putting. Break right. Break right. Break right. Beautiful distance. Didn’t go very much right. This is kind of a massive putt right here. Oh, that was a brutal double. We’ve got a dog leg. Right. And I have got to carry this initial rough. It is killing me to hit my tea ball into the first layer of rough and have it go nowhere. There it is. We’ve got to go back to Smoothie Town. We started going to Hammertown and Hammertown was banging us. But when we go to Smoothie Town, it’s delicious. It’s exactly what we need. We’ve got 146 into the wind here. If you really think about it, this is actually the first fairway I’ve hit. So, it’ll only be two over despite missing every single fairway. It’s not the worst. Get through it. That’s going to be short. Go right. Go right. My speed’s been great, but hitting these touch shots, I keep pulling them like left. Going to need one of these at some point. Please be the one. And another bogey. We are still two over my mark. We have got yet another par three. 163 yards. And the pin is just tucked behind that bunker. So, we are forced to hit the cut here. I think I’m going to hit it like hard, but aim it left and make sure that I cut across this ball. That’s it. Just don’t go in the bunker. No. No. It’s out. We might be putting on the other side of the bunker. Please give me a birdie putt. Please. Thank you Dobson Ranch for the firm bunkers. That is unbelievable that that just happened. A birdie here would be transformational. Break right. Break right. Break right. Oh, my speed has been good and my line has not been good. Yeah. Listen, I think I might have two putted every single hole that I’ve had a actually I think every single hole I’ve two putted basically. I know there were some that were like sitting on the fringe that wouldn’t count, but that’s not a bad start. We’ve got That’s our first part of the day. We’re back to like two over where I’d like to be. We got a little lucky. Let’s take it and run onto a par five. And just when you’re riding high, Dobson says not so fast. We have got a long water carry here. I think if I hit the same shot I did two holes ago, it’s easily covering it. But do I try that or do I just smack it out left and play safe? We’re going to kind of soft commit. I’m I’m I guess I’m going to take it over like the left side of the water. Go skip. We covered. That was the like longest part of the water I could have hit at. And I hit a cut and we easily covered. That was all in my head. Wow. Holy mind games. That wasn’t very good. That kind of sucks pretty bad. If that gets through the bunker, it’s actually great. Ski ramp, please. 44 yards. And this actually has a lip to it. So, we’re going to have to get this thing hopping and rolling to cover the lip. Sit, Sam. Sit, Sam. Oh, we’re off the back. We carried. We hit it so hard that we carried the whole thing. To have the T-ball that I did and have this left for par is just an absolute squander. Oh gosh, I’m fumbling. Come on, give me one. Good lag. Wish I would have done that three shots ago after I hit that T-OT. I was thinking birdie. That’s a tough double, but we’re making the turn. And I do tend to play the front nine of Dobson a lot better. So, let’s go get it. We are officially halfway through the course, folks. And we are sitting at a 46. So, if you’re trying to get up to 90, that’s uh technically one shot over my limit. But, we’ve got a par 37 front. So, I got to go crazy on them and I got to make three shots back. Luckily, this is the nine that I’m certainly more familiar with. And and the fact that my back is hurting means that I’m hitting it way too hard. So, let’s just let’s just go for some smoothie town, eh? That’s so bad. That is not how you want to start there. It was so close to being there. It was so close to being there. Actually, the fact that I hit that shot and have dodged all of the rough and I’m like running on gravel, that’s actually going to make it go pretty far. So, I think it’s not the worst result. Wasn’t what I meant to do, but that’s so much better. I know it went left and we can fix that. But the fact that I accidentally smacked the ball and didn’t just like slice through it, I’m okay with it. 121 yards left to the pin up and down gets me a par. That’s You can hear when it grips the grain. It’s like you’re like up. That’s not going anywhere. And that might be too long actually because I Oh, that was nasty. Come on. Yes, that is so good. Oh my goodness. I know it’s a bogey and I know it’s a net neutral, but that was a battle. Hole two, we’ve got a par4 around the corner. You guys have seen this a bunch if you’ve ever watched my YouTube shorts. This feels like it’s got to be a par. We do have a wind in our face, which is going to make it very difficult, but I’m riding high. I’m feeling confident. Yes. Oh, that’s just glorious. That’s good. Be it. Be it. Go. We got an up and down for par. That’s about all I could ask for right there. Little bit of a feel shot here. I I keep pulling these left. So, I’m going to I’m going to not do that. Be good. Sit. It’s got to sit. It’s got to sit. It’s got to sit. It’s got to sit. I’m going to be bold and say if we make this putt right here, we’re breaking 90. Guarantee. This one would have me feeling real nicey. Break right. Please, Sam. Got me feeling nicy. Oh my goodness. That might be the best putt I’ve ever made in my life. Stay tuned for the rest of the video cuz I hand guaranteed that we’re breaking 90. We’ve got the next hole. It’s technically hole three at Dobson Ranch here, which is mathwise it’s hole 12 for us. And it is a par4 around the corner left. Not very long. If I can hit the same shot that I just did on the last T- boxoo, we’re going to be looking at a birdie chance. Oh, Sam, I topped it so bad. Okay. I mean, it rolled out there. It didn’t go very far. No time for crying. No time for making excuses. Just a really, really bad shot. I got a little too hyped. That’s all we can do. I wish I had done that off the tea. We would be much, much better off. And up and down from here would feel absolutely fantastic. That would be a sensational par. That just launched straight down at impact. I actually can’t believe that that was that short. I hit it so hard and work right. That was really good. That was really good. We got to look at bogey. I do feel pretty confident about this putt, which is good because it’s a mustave. That is insane. If we could just hit the ball a little closer, a little faster, we might make pars and birdies. Come on. We’ve got 143 yd par three. I feel like I can make any putt that I look at right now. Let it cut just a little. Let it cut just a little. It draws whenever I say that. That’s crazy. My I do reverse golf. I mean, I was close to the number. It’s just so far left. We got to hit it over the cart path onto the green. Well, this is clearly a pretty awful spot to be in. Lots of different terrain to try to bounce over. So, this just becomes pure feel. That could be so good. I I mean, that is unbelievably good. And this is certainly not an easy putt. With the way I’m putting right now, I’d like my chances a lot. Let chaos rain. Nope, I shorted it. Okay, bogey from there is fine, guys. It’s fine. We are playing some G on this side. Just like we just got to keep stacking those. And we got to not have T- shots that put us in the freaking mud. We have got five holes left to play and we need a minimum of two of them to be pars. Probably an extra par or two would be helpful for a little bit of cushion. I know that’s a lot to ask, but we’ve got a par five swinging around the corner left. I’m tempted to just hit it at these trees because with how low it’s going, there’s a chance it could roll, but also roll is kind of bad. I need to get my ball in the air. So, I’m actually just going to take it up the fairway. And if somehow I accidentally pull it left, maybe we’ll get lucky. No. Why do I slice it so bad on the par fives? That’s I accidentally went safe. But it was great. It was really great. That’s so good. It got down so fast. It’s just not going to have the legs. Go. Did you hear that first? Drives me crazy. Instantly. No. My ball’s not getting there. It’s got to go. And it’s got to go. And it’s got to go. And it’s got to go. Oh, that was nice. That was a great shot. Very quality shot. Oh, I slid it in the left side. That was a yippy stroke right there. Another bogey. Honestly, I’ve been saying all day that bogeies aren’t killing us, but at this point, they kind of are. We need pars bad. We got to make a par on this one. I’m kind of wondering if my best recipe for success is to aim it at the cart path. There’s a decent chance that I’ll scoot across it, get a little extra yardage, and it’s kind of the straight line to the hole. So, that’s what I’m going for. And of course, I hit a beautiful, actually, that was pretty beautiful. We’ve got about 180 yards left into the wind. We’re off the ground, and I just haven’t been getting it going very far off the ground. I’m going full hammer time. Maybe I’ll regret it, but we’re at the point where we kind of got to start taking risks. I need this ball on the freaking green. So much slice. So much slice. I could be a habachi chef. Maybe time to say goodbye. Great distance. Terrible aim. We’ve got to ski ramp it off of this bunker. [Music] It fell back in the bunker. It was perfect. It hit the lip and it fell back in. This is definitely more of a lip than any of the other bunkers we’ve faced, which means I have to kind of trap pop this. There’s just no way I can ski ramp it out. Time to say goodbye. Oh no. [Music] How do I get out? Oh, that’s rough. It was all going so well. I saw the lights and they were too bright. Sit. Oh boy. Oh man. Got to have this putt. [Music] Oh man. Hurts to be so close. Oh, it hurts. A nine with three holes to play definitely puts the nail in the coffin for our breaking 90. But I still have a great chance to put together a solid score. I don’t regret that second shot. You had I wanted to go for it. I could have rolled something up the middle again, but uh I was kind of running out of time to make pars. Sometimes you got to go for the hero shot and it banged me. But we got 143 yard par three win at the back. Toe ball right at it. Could be Oh. Oh, long. Oh, long. Pretty frustrating result here. Not sure how this happened or what I’m going to do about it. How do you end up here? A flop shot into the wind would kind of be great, but I don’t know how to do that with this putter. That was insane that I just did that. That was so good. I could not have done any better. I’m happy with that one. That’s got to hit the brakes. Hit the brakes. Hit the brakes. Feels like the tires are off the track, guys. that ah sometimes when you start counting the overall score uh you can either put additional pressure on yourself or like a sense of giving up. I need to just think about the next shot and not think about my score. We’ve got a par4 dog leg right hole number eight here. This is a tough one. We’ve got to keep this thing left. Just have to keep this left. Ah, sorry that the end of this is so painful, guys. I’m falling apart. And just like that, my second goal of playing the same ball the whole way has also become a fail. That was really good. Please. Oh, that is actually an incredible golf shot. Did you guys see how close that was to the bunker? Woo! We got this left for the bog. It’s going to be fast and it’s going to fall down into We got a little double break. Left early, right at the end and then right and then right. Not quite as much right as I thought. Good, good putt, though. I’m just thinking back to about four holes ago, brighteyed and bushy tailed, thinking maybe, guys. Thinking maybe. If y’all decided to stick around this long, I really appreciate you. This one’s for you. I’m going to give it my all on this par five. I’m not going to lie, you maybe you guys are going to disagree with me in the comments. I feel like I just didn’t have enough stamina. Like I have the capability to pull this off as soon as I got hot. Like I fizzled out like a freaking Roman candle, dog. I don’t think that analogy even makes sense, but I just ran out of gas. This is army golf if I have ever seen it. Left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right. We’re making it work. I mean, that that’s pretty good. Go. Don’t go in that bunker. Go. Go. I think we’re short of it. Got pretty lucky here. Let’s take advantage of a little hop and roller. Get her back there. That was sick. That was sick. Can’t believe that was landed so soft, though. Come on, curl. Oh, great. Meat. Please go in. Please go in. It is It is done. Oh, I hurt. 52 on the back nine. Technically, the front nine puts me at a total score of 98. That was brutal, dude. Um, not going to lie, there were some awesome moments when I really thought, “We have this. I’ve got the shot. I’ve got the chance.” Um, and I folded like a stack of cards. I I could give you a lot of excuses, but there’s just no way around it. You cannot get yourself into a place where you’ve got a where you walk away with a nine. Hope you guys enjoyed that. That was a very fun challenge. That was a test. I really enjoyed that. Let me know if you guys want to see something like it again. Maybe a variation on it. Maybe a club in a putter. Um, I’m open to ideas. I had fun. Um, so I hope you guys did, too. We’ll see you in the next video. Peace.

  1. Loved this video, this kind of content is soo good where we can see you play long consistent golf with a twist!

  2. This is crazy! I quit years ago and never broke 95 using the whole bag. I used putter on an entire hole once (5 on a par 3…and I'd shot 6 and 7 with irons off the tee). Its fun watching these, I bet your back hurt after though

  3. great vid man. i like the editing style. the pacing is much better than most longform golf youtube vids
