All right, what is up everyone? We are back and today I’m going to see if I can shoot under par with a subscribers bag. Let’s get into it. All right, this has been something I’ve wanted to do to try to like interact more with like you as the viewer subscriber. So, I thought this would be a fun idea. The premise is easy. I am trying to shoot underpar with a subscriber’s bag. Basically how this works is I chose I chose the course today specifically because I wanted to play this course. But normally I have a wheel or what I’m going to do the rest of the time. I have a wheel that I will spin and that will decide the course that I play. That way I can’t like kind of honeypot and pick and choose courses based on the discs that I am given for this kind of video. So basically what happens, I play the whole course. If I shoot under par, I win. Should I shoot over par? What’s going to happen is basically your name is going to be uh entered into kind of the drawing and then $10 is going to be added to a pot and there’s going to be 10 of these. So like let’s say I get five of 10. There’s going to be five names like the five people whose bag I don’t shoot under par with will be here $50 added in because that’s five people. So depending how much that you know that’ll be in a pot you know it should work out well. Then after the 10 rounds are done, I will draw a name from the amount of people whose bag I did not shoot under par with, that one person wins everything in the pot. So if six people are in the pot, there’s $60. If there’s seven people, $70, so on so forth, depending on how many I get. We are at North Side today, which is definitely one of the harder courses in the area, but I’ve been really just wanting to play this course. Play all 18. I’m going to try to get through it pretty quick, uh, and try to shoot under par. I know this person, so it’s really nice. I kind of know their bag a little bit, which certainly helps. But let’s get into it. All right, to start us off here, we are looking at a 370 par three. Normally, I would probably try to like go flex forehand down this hill cuz you kind of play to the left and then fade back to the right playing downhill. However, I think for the sake of shooting under par, the smarter shot is I’m just going to go hiser. Try to be kind of this first group of trees and there’s a little fairway I can pitch down, maybe take a three. We’re going Halo Destroyer here, too. Pretty sweet one. If that gets down, it’s gonna be really good. Oh, I got a huge skip. All right. Well, this is not a good start. I forgot they cleared up so much of this that I and it was a big skip. I skipped out of bounds. Probably jeez, probably 40 feet out of bounds. So, we’re here. We do have a putt for par, but uh it is not an easy one, that’s for sure. Go. Oh, sit. Oh, this is going to be a disaster of a video. Holy cow. Okay, if I were you, I would start sending your bags this way because I’m about to double off the first. All right. All right. Save bogey. That’s fine. We can we can recover from that. All right. That got diceier a lot earlier than I wanted that to be. Hole two though, 160. This I think the shortest hole in the course. Playing straight up the hill. I think part of me wants to go forehand just cuz I think that’s the safer shot for me. But I really want to throw this maiden at some point where it’s just kind of just straight shot right at it. But I think for the sake of scoring, we’re going to go forehand. Play the left side. Get up there. As long as I don’t hit this V tree in the middle, we’re good. That was early. My shoulder just popped. It’s the beauty of it being such a short hole though is that’s like 20 ft. That’s tough cuz that that did work out to be a good shot, but like I was aiming on the left side of that of like the V tree that I showed or pointed to. I missed like to the right of a tree to the right of the tree I was looking at. So that’s just that’s pretty bad. All right. Yeah. I mean, we’re even closer than 20 ft. This is closer than the putt I just had. So, oops. Going to go ahead and move that out of the way. I pulled it. I knew it, too. These I’m putting with P1’s. They’re a little more stable than my links. So, everything is probably going to be missing right today. All right. So, bad bogey on one, missed opportunity on two. So, now it brings us to three. Par four, which is nice. It’s like 500 something feet. You play kind of down this fairway across the bridge onto another like kind of piece of land, flat fairway, sitting up like right before you kind of go uphill. So really my goal here is if you can get through this woods, you should have a birdie chance. So I’m going to go flex forehand with this halo race here, try to turn it through. If you can just get to the bridge, it’s a great shot. Oh, that thing is stable. Holy cow. I did not think those were that stable. I knew coming in that this was going to be difficult, but because, you know, I’m obviously learning new discs, but I thought I had like decent knowledge about how those would fly. I mean, it’s a race, so obviously it is stable, but I didn’t think it was like that. You know what I mean? That like out of the I feel like I threw that pretty flat. Maybe a little bit of hiser, but I did nothing but hiser. All right, you’re a long way from me, but this is jail right here. I’m basically trying to see I can maybe straddle out actually and get across the way. I think I’m I’m gonna This might be a bad idea. I think I’m going to go gravity bomb PD2. Try to go forehand and just get a big flare skip across the bridge there. Oh, okay. We made it through. That was like moments from being like super good, but that is that’s okay. We pitch up. We take our four. We move on. This front nine is where I really need to score. So, we got to get something going. I pulled it. Get down. All right. Perfect. That’s a par. All right. That’s fine. Still one up, but we will manage. All right. Hole four, 175 ft. You’re playing up the hill. Uh, I think for the sake of throwing something new, I’m going to try this maiden. I’ve heard a lot about it. I’ve heard him talk a lot about it. So, pretty sweet. I’m going to try to just kind of I don’t actually don’t know how stable these are, but I’m going to try to go like backhand like kind of flat to Annie. Play through that gap. It’s playing up the hill. If you can get past this first line of trees, you should be fine. Oh my gosh, I pulled it. Okay, all things considered, that was the one of the uglier shots I’ve thrown. That’s really like not a terrible spot to be. So, I didn’t know how stable that was. paid the price for it. However, I’m still probably 3540 ft, but way better than being somewhere down there. You know, the fact that I made it up here is great. So, we’re going to try to jump this one in, I think, and just stab it in there. Yep. Okay, that was awesome. All right, I think it’s also fair to mention my best score at North Side is five under. I did that one time. I don’t play out here like too too much, but uh I think that’s the only time I’ve ever shot underpar either. So, I think even is a good line. I shot overpar here. I mean, every other time. So, uh back to even, which is great. Whole 590 ft. Tough tough gap here. I don’t know what he’s got in here. It might be that maiden again or something. You just want it straight. If you can get something to that fallen tree or just over, you’re you’re sitting very pretty. I feel like this is a bad time to try new stuff. This is the Origin. The Meta Origin. Never thrown this before, but it feels and looks understable to me. Oh, that was so good. Kick off that tree. Not that way, though. Yes. Okay. So, I think that tree at the end stopped me and I should be about pin high. That’s actually like a spot I don’t have in my bag, like underststable putter. Grant, I don’t throw putters too too much, but something you can like just power down like that and throw 40% and it just ride straight. Pretty cool shot, actually. Yeah, if that kicked left off this guy, we were doomed. But kicked right and just kind of sat, which is really, really nice. Oh, I almost missed that high. All right, under par. We’ll see if it holds. All right, we are one under par. Is that right now? Feels really good. Hole six, 175. Cool little ace run down the hill. Super super tight gap. Elevated basket going down the hill. If you go deep at the basket, you are way past the basket. But you also want to throw something like touchy enough that it’s going to get through. Like the landing zone is very difficult unless you get lucky and kind of hit a tray kick or just throw a really really good shot. I kind of want to throw that disc called that I just threw that Kyle Klein disc down there flat like right at it. or maybe the maiden. All right, I think we’re going to go to the maiden. He doesn’t really these are the only two putters in his bag is this and that origin, I think, besides his putting putters. But I’m going to try to stand still nice and flat at it. Kind of give it a run low key, but really just not do anything like horrendous. Okay, sit down. It got clean. Unfortunately, I think it went in the woods to the left. So, probably not a putt, but we might have something. All right, I think you can see me in here. They cleared a bunch of this up. So, normally where you would kind of maybe fall here if you got lucky, I am all the way down here in a not good spot filled with spiderw webs. Yeah, I don’t I don’t even know if you can see me, but I have I have nothing. And that is definitely nothing. Oh gosh. All right, let’s try this again. Oh my gosh. No, sit sit. Thank you. Okay. Ah, that’s This is a terrible bogey, but at least got back to back birdie, so I’m still even, but I guess I do need to shoot under. So, I could have been way smarter there. All right, this is a difficult but a really fun hole. 360 par4. So, I have eagled it before, which is really awesome. Uh you’re basically for me it’s going to be flex forehand down super super tight gap off the tea. Uh hopefully kind of fades back. They’ve opened it up so much out there. So again like if you can beat like this first initial kind of tunnel and get moving that way you will skip kind of towards the basket. So eagle would be huge to get me to two under. Birdie is almost a must if you have a decent T-OT going Halo Destroyer here. No. Okay, we kicked and fell. I might have a shot for a birdie play, but that was almost so good. All right, my camera work is pretty shoddy today, but that’s what happens when you’re in really bad spots. I have a gap, so I’m going to go zone straight down this tunnel. I don’t think you can see. I’m trying to get it where you can see me and the basket, but uh if I hit this gap, it should funnel. We might have like a long putt unless I get just like super super clean. No, that was the last one. If I don’t hit that, we’re a Okay, but now it might be a par. Dang it. That’s it. All right, pin high. We’re through. Get our four. That’s That’s missed one right there for sure. Thank goodness. I thought that was short. So that would have been very frustrating. All right, hole eight. It says 220 right there. It says 250 on you. Definitely plays longer than 220. This is a tough shot here. So hard. You’re basically playing through this gap. You got to get over that fallen tree and down. It’s sitting like down and kind of up into the uh up into the left. I have two. Oh, this is FD1. This is an FD. I think the FD1 is technically more stable, but I don’t know if that’s what I want. The Rage Stone. We’re going to try it. Hit it flat. Again, you just you kind of have to get lucky. Oh, I forgot. Last time I played this, I threw like flex forehand and almost aced it. So, actually, I’m going to try that now that I just said that. It’s just way easier for me to hit this gap that way. Oh my gosh, that’s Dang it. If that tree’s not there, that like not even joking, that might have went in swing. See, I mean, that was it. That was the line. All right, last one on the front nine. 250. This one is pretty tough. You kind of go flat backhand. This is a really tight gap, but I just now see it. You kind of have a lot of options, but they’re also all like not really there. So the basket is pretty straight off the tea, maybe just up and to the right. So like a lot of times I do like backhand turnover and see, but this one is like I think I birdied it once and actually I might have been playing doubles with someone. So who knows if it was even my shot or not. So get clean. Might be another three. There’s a lot more birdies to get on the back nine, I think, cuz it’s a little more open. All right. And if you didn’t know, big disc mania bag here. We’re going with the glacier. Never thrown this thing. I’ve heard a lot about it, but I think I’m going to try to There’s a skinny gap right here, but if you hit that flat with something stable, it should do nothing but final to the basket. So, this is either going to be I’m either going to try like probably get a bogey or it might be a par birdie. Bogey it is. All right, hindsight is 2020, but that this was not the play. Uh jeez, I don’t even I don’t even know what to do here. This is definitely going to be probably a bogey unless I can like All right, straddle out forehand. I’m going to go MD1. Little bit of turn cuz I am just going to try to follow that gap that I should have hit off the tea. No. No. Dude, that was so good. Dang it. That kick so far. All right. Easy bogey, I guess. Hole 10 just under 600t. Par4. You play something far out straight that kind of gets left and then you play down into kind of like a mini forest it seems. Uh first shot just needs to get clean. Basically playing like kind of to that tree and then fading left. I’m going to try to do a little flex forehand on this side. I don’t know why, but it feels right. Second shot. This is a This is actually a pretty tough birdie. This would be a bonus birdie if I get back to even here. I just smoked the crap out of that. Holy. All right, that feels good. That’s the best T shots on on this one. All right, so what’s in store for the back nine here? Way more open holes. There’s a few wooded that play a lot like the front nine, but for the most part it’s more open par4s, which is nice. Longer holes. So, not that necessarily favors me, but all right. This was crushed. I’ve actually never been this far before. Uh, so that’s kind of interesting cuz a lot of times I’m back there. I throw forehand over these trees, but it’s I’m almost too close where like I kind of have to go backhand. So, I’m going to go just this backhand. I think go ahead and play it low. Try to get Ah, no. I’m going to go higher because if I go over the top, it’s open on that backside. If I do hit the trees and it might funnel through like I have a chance. So, we’ll we’ll see what happens here. All right. So, we’re close to the bridge. I think we might have a jump putt over maybe. All right. Couldn’t quite get lucky through that, but this is still like midcircle two putt. Like this is makeable for sure. And again, like really no harm, no foul if I don’t. This is a bonus for me. Maybe. Oh my gosh. Let’s go. I thought that was too high, but those are way more stable than my link, so that was good. All right. I needed that. That was That was a huge bird. I guess I didn’t need it, but I certainly wanted it. We’re back to even now. Hole 11, 380 foot par three plays out into the right. A lot of times I like to go flex forehand, but I think we’re going to try to go like pushing kind of hiser shot. It’s kind of tucked in there back in the woods. Uh, this one would be another kind of bonus for me just because of the shot shape. I know it’s just like stockheiser, but it’s kind of like that pushing his like you kind of have to get touchy. So, we’ll see what happens. This would be another good one. What a good kick. Middle of the fairway. Nothing wrong with that. Now fall, please. Yes. Eh, it’s a longer putt than I want, but it’s certainly there. Oh, I kind of thought that went in. Dang it. Back and forth. And it’s tough cuz everything I’m doing I feel like is so avoidable except for maybe well nine was avoidable cuz I could have thrown a smarter T-shot but all right I should not be overpar but I guess you live with the reality hole 12 262 you just throw something overstable on forehand out there let it crash it’s sitting on the hill so you go to down the hill probably going to be a par but I’m just going to throw this nice and flat hopefully let the stability of the disc do the thing. This is the Doomird 4. These things are pretty sweet. Mando here. So, as long as really I shouldn’t hit either these two, but knock on wood, I probably will. Oh, it’s so stable. Get there. We’re putting that is really stable, though. All right, this is going to be the softest bit you’ve ever seen. These that Doomird is crazy stable. I’m going to loft this one in there. If it goes in, great. If not, I just don’t want it rolling down the hill. It’s perfect. Take a par. These next few I’m It’s kind of coming down to the wire. And actually, a lot of these they’re birdies with a really good shot. So, I would love to sneak well I need at least two birdies before the end here, but I would love to sneak a couple here pretty quick and then have some wiggle room towards the end. Hole 13. 300 ft. Playing downhill. It’s kind of down and then back up ever so slightly. This one tree, if this was not here, this hole would be really easy. This is like the perfectly placed tree. Probably going to go like FD or something just to make sure it gets there. Maybe a little turnover or something on this on this left side. But uh yeah, I just need something clean. I need I just give myself some chances. I just pulled that fall down, please. Thank you. Oh my gosh, I just yanked the crap out of that. All right. I genuinely don’t know if you’ll be able to see the basket here. I’m surprised you can Well, actually, I’m surprised you can see anything but me. You’re so close. But little chip forehand should put you up. Take three. All right. All things considered, this was a really good three from where I was. All right. I’ve self-proclaimed this one of the hardest holes in Southwest Missouri. Uh, we’re looking at 220 feet. It is dead straight playing just, you know, a couple feet uphill, but like the gap, if I walk like this, I think I can hit trees on both sides all the way down. So, it’s probably 6ish feet, if not less to the pin. I’m going to go I’ve thrown this a lot today. There’s only a couple discs I haven’t thrown in the bag. He doesn’t have that many, which is great. I want to try to throw most everything, but it’s kind of getting to the point where I need birdies or just like Yeah. need birdies. So, I’m going to go zone forehand. Just hit it really hard. Hope it pushes pretty straight. Just give myself some kind of look. When in doubt, I just want to get out of this entire thing. Go from there. I just did it. Did that Oh, it did sit. I was like I heard it hit and I didn’t see it shoot off. Hopefully, I wasn’t in the way for that. All right. So we we are about to be back to even with 16 17 or 15 16 17 18 two part fours coming up finished by two par threes. So we only need one birdie. This next one is pretty actually the next couple par4s are pretty bogeyable. So as long as I get clean I can I can get a birdie. I’ve birdied them before but uh they’re tough. All right even par. One birdie all I need left. And again, like I said, we kind of have the whole 18 fall back. So, should I I really just have to not bogey. A birdie would be great because I have insurance, but just not bogey up until 18 and then birdie 18. All right, this one is very easy or very hard depending on how your T-shot goes. If your T-OT doesn’t make it out of this, you’re scrambling for par. If it does make it out, you should have a fairly easy opportunity for birdie. It’s 505 foot par4. It’s going to be probably that doomberg four forehand to get out into the open and then you’re playing up over like a ditch and the basket’s sitting in a group of trees. But if you get in that group of trees, you’re like 15 ft at most. So it all starts with a good T-shot forehand that gets out of here. If that happens, we should have another birdie. Nope. Dang it. Dang it. All right. I don’t actually know how much you’re going to be able to see of this. I don’t think this should be in the way. Gosh dang it. This I hate having decisions cuz if I go straight out here, I can get something that turns and fades. But if I go forehand, I can just kind of chip out to the open, play for par. So, it’s really how stupid do I want to be right now? All right. Unfortunately, I think I’ve chosen to be stupid. Okay. Well, stupid. Didn’t necessarily not work. Wasn’t what I wanted to do, but we kicked all the way out into the open. All right. I think we’re going to go glacier in on hiser. I I want to throw it back in. I don’t know what it does, but it’s kind of a cool disc. Might be good if it has the distance. Okay, that was probably the best shot I’ve thrown all day today. Maybe outside of the T- shot right there. The T-OT, not on this hole, but on the last hole. All right, don’t look now, but there’s a little meat on the bone. We’re probably 20ish here. This is a This is a must make right here. Let’s go. Oh, I saw that hit pretty firm and thought it spit back out, but that was a good putt. All right, hole 16, par4. This is probably the last hard hole. 700 ft for me. It’s going to be forehand out. If you get through this, you have a chance at birdie. If you don’t, you’re done for. At least as far as birdie goes, maybe even par depending on how far you’re in there. So, forehand out, backhand, then back in and to the left. It’s sitting in the woods. But I think pending, I throw this shot out. And it’s decent. It’s not going to be a layup, but it’s definitely going to be like a soft play for birdie. If I get there, great. If not, I just want to be able to pitch down, take a birdie, have my chance. The last two par threes, get up higher. I think that would have been really good. That’s fine. The fact that I made it out there, so guess I shouldn’t be complaining. All right. If you see this and you want to send me like a a bag, it doesn’t have to be like your main bag, but like it can be joke discs. It can be whatever you want it to be. If you want to send me some to try to do this challenge with, again, I’m doing 10. I don’t know how often I’ll do them. Probably just when I get some discs in, I’ll do it. Uh, but 10 of these, so if you want, act now just in case. But you can send them to our store cuz that’s where I’m at 99% of the time. 3154 South Campbell as Springfield MO. I think it’s like 65807 or something like that. You might have to fact check me on that, but uh yeah, it’d be fun. I’m looking forward to doing this. So, if you have some you want to send, absolutely do it. All right, I think we’re going to go MD1 here. Should be pretty straight with some stability at the end. Go in the basket. Holy cow, that disc goes so far. I literally threw mid, not cuz I thought I had the distance, but because I wanted to kind of lay up, but that just went forever and almost went in. What the Oh, sit. No. All right. It wasn’t far, but it was definitely further than I would like that. I really wanted to go in. So, I’m even with two left. All right. I think for this one, I have to go with a disc that I know. There’s a couple in there I haven’t thrown yet, but that was never really a part of the rules. And I need a birdie. 17 365 par 3. It’s playing this like far group of uh uh trees sitting underneath that. So, you kind of play something to it. You can kind of crash in, but it’s easier if you just play a little short. Let it slide up in there. Going to go Champion Gorgon. Little hiser. Hopefully, it just pushes straight. Give myself a chance. If not, it’s a must make on 18 or must birdie on 18. Please get lucky. Oh my gosh, it did. There’s the tiniest V in that tree and I somehow hit it. I knew it. Out of the hands I pulled it. All right, comes down to 18 cuz why wouldn’t it? All right, scores in. It’s crazy. It’s honestly really annoying because I’ve had so many. One, I went out of bounds. Shouldn’t really be a bogey. Six should not be a bogey. Nine should not be a bogey. 11 probably shouldn’t have been a bogey. So, everything was avoidable. Nothing I can do about it now, but we’re looking at 260 for hole 18. And it’s just dead straight. So, all I’m going to try to do is go right at it. Hope it slides up. We par, I lose. We birdie, I win. Miss that tree. And stop. Sit. That’s That’s a putt to make for sure. Dang. All right. And we are definitely looking at a tester. I’m guessing if it made it to the grass, we’re looking at 25 plus. It’s I hate when it comes down to this stuff because I feel like I never convert. You know what I mean? So, it’s just I mean it’s all for you guys. So, if I miss it, great. You know, we put $10 into the pot, Ryland gets his name in there. So, I guess I I was just thinking about it. I was like I feel like the people would want me to succeed, but I actually I feel like that’s the opposite now that I’m doing this. Like, you want me to fail, which I guess is fine, but my mind my mindset is different now. It’s funny. It’s like I have a different reason for being nervous about this putt. We’re also definitely outside of circle. So, there’s that. But it’s like I didn’t want to miss cuz I didn’t want to let the people down, but now like I feel like if I make it, I’m letting the people down. All right. Gosh dang it. I’m going to try to putt right through these trees. Oh my gosh. I did it. That was so scary. I can’t believe that went in. But we did it. All right, that is it. Shout out Ryland for letting me use his bag for this video. He actually makes videos of his own. So, if you you should go subscribe to him as well. But if you have a bag or discs that you want me to try to use for this t like these 10 challenges or 10 videos, definitely send them out to me. If you’re local, bring them into the shop and I’ll use whatever you bring me. No questions asked. So, that is all I got for you today. That feels really good. And this actually like low-key helps my mental like tournament pressure because I was stressing about that putt, especially trying to go through the trees. But, we did it. I am one for one now. $0 in the pot. Sorry, Ryland. Thank you for letting me use your bag, but you do not get into the drawing. That is all I got for you today. Like, comment, subscribe. Tee shot on 10 was insane! Also love the vid idea!!
Fun to watch, thanks for uploading!
Good talking to you the day you filmed this.
How do I get my bag into one of these ten? 😂
Love this idea! I'm local if you need another bag to try!
Super fun round to watch! Tough I don’t get in the drawing but you threw some darts with some of my discs, might have to get on the DM train😂 had I known I coulda thrown in goofy discs I would have
